ICEYE, a global leader in sovereign space intelligence, has successfully closed a €450 million Series F funding round, elevating its valuation to over €10 billion. The round was led by prominent growth equity firm General Atlantic and brings the total funding, including a secondary placement, to more than €1 billion. This significant capital injection underscores the growing strategic importance of Earth observation technology for national security and global resilience.

A Global Coalition of Investors

The funding round attracted a diverse group of new and existing investors, signaling widespread confidence in ICEYE's market position and future. Alongside General Atlantic, participants included Finnish institutions Solidium, Tesi, Varma, and Ilmarinen, as well as Lifeline Ventures and Nokia. The international consortium was further strengthened by the participation of the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) and TCV, reflecting the global appeal of ICEYE's advanced capabilities.

Fueling Global Expansion and Capability Enhancement

Proceeds from the financing will be instrumental in accelerating ICEYE's global expansion and enhancing its sophisticated intelligence offerings. The company plans to scale its operations to meet the surging demand from governments and commercial clients for sovereign intelligence systems and data. This investment empowers ICEYE to deliver its cutting-edge solutions to a broader international customer base at an unprecedented scale and speed.

Rafal Modrzewski, Co-Founder and CEO of ICEYE, stated that the caliber of investors reflects a shared belief in the company's mission. He emphasized that sovereign intelligence from space is entering a new era and that ICEYE has built the world's most advanced capability to meet this demand. This funding will enable the company to accelerate the delivery of new capabilities to its partners faster than ever before.

Strategic Partnership with Nokia

The funding round also introduces Nokia as a new strategic investor, creating a powerful synergy between trusted connectivity and real-time visibility. This collaboration is poised to advance Europe's defense, resilience, and technological sovereignty. The partnership will leverage the complementary strengths of both companies to develop more secure, aware, and adaptable critical systems for governments and industries.

Impressive Financial and Operational Momentum

This Series F round follows a period of remarkable growth for ICEYE, which achieved over €250 million in revenue and more than €100 million in EBITDA in 2025. The company has simultaneously scaled growth, profitability, and cash generation while building a contracted backlog exceeding €1.5 billion. These strong financial results highlight the company's successful transition from innovation to commercial and operational success at scale.

Operationally, ICEYE is significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity to keep pace with demand and its expanding backlog. The company is doubling its satellite production from 50 units per year to a target of 100 annually by 2028. This ramp-up in production will be supported by a matching launch cadence, ensuring a continuous enhancement of its constellation and services.

Pioneering Sovereign Space Systems

ICEYE has established itself as the leading provider of sovereign space-based intelligence, with seven European governments having already procured its satellite systems. The company has demonstrated an ability to deliver fully operational systems with remarkable speed, as seen with the Polish Armed Forces. This system was delivered from contract signing to operational capability in just 12 months, one of the fastest deployments in history.

The company's successful deployment model is now being replicated across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, with an accelerating pace of adoption. Each sovereign system ICEYE deploys not only enhances the capabilities of the operating nation but also contributes to a broader network of intelligence. This network effect strengthens collective security and situational awareness for all participating partners.

In conclusion, ICEYE's landmark funding round solidifies its leadership in the rapidly evolving space intelligence sector. The substantial investment, backed by a global consortium of esteemed investors, validates the company's technology, business model, and strategic vision. With this new capital, ICEYE is well-positioned to accelerate its growth, expand its global footprint, and continue redefining the future of sovereign intelligence from space.
