GUDEA, the AI-powered narrative intelligence platform known as the Storm Tracker for the Internet, has closed an oversubscribed US$7 million Seed financing round. The investment was co-led by Mudita Ventures and Collide Capital. The company will use the new capital to accelerate product development, expand platform coverage, and support enterprise growth.

A Growing Information Risk

Online narratives now shift from a single post to a market-moving story within hours. GUDEA analyses have found that small groups of users exhibiting inauthentic behavior drive an outsized share of discussion on topics from consumer brands to financial markets. Many organizations have no way to see these dynamics and must respond without knowing where a narrative came from, who is driving it, or where it is headed.

Evidence of Inauthentic Behavior

A growing body of research shows that much of that conversation is not what it appears to be. Communicators, strategists, and investor relations teams often lack tools to see who is driving narratives or where they are headed. This visibility gap can leave organizations reacting to stories rather than anticipating them.

Platform Capabilities

GUDEA closes that gap by combining behavioral intelligence, graph neural network modeling, and real-time monitoring across dozens of online platforms. The platform identifies where narratives originate, which users are driving them, and how quickly they are likely to spread. It also distinguishes authentic engagement from inauthentic behavior and classifies audiences into five distinct categories for an early, evidence-based view of emerging risk.

Traction and Recognition

GUDEA's data has informed reporting by national news outlets, and its platform supports Fortune 100 companies and leading communications firms. The company was named a 2026 SXSW Pitch finalist and a 2026 Webby Award nominee, highlighting its early impact. These milestones reflect growing confidence in narrative intelligence as a distinct category for enterprise risk management.

Leadership Perspective

Keith Presley, co-founder and CEO of GUDEA, said every organization now operates inside an information environment it does not control and often cannot see. He noted that narratives shape markets, brands, and public trust long before they appear in a headline. According to Presley, the demand behind the round reflects that leaders need to know what is moving online, who is moving it, and what happens next.

Investor Confidence

Buddy Foster, an investor at Mudita Ventures, described the information environment as a core business risk that GUDEA measures with unusual rigor. He said the founders pair deep intelligence experience with technology that already delivers for demanding clients. Foster added that Mudita Ventures is proud to back the team as it scales.

Founding Team and Growth Plans

Founded in 2023 by Keith Presley, Jonathan Sperber, and James Thomin, GUDEA brings together backgrounds in military intelligence, national security operations, and artificial intelligence. The company has experienced rapid demand from enterprises, public institutions, and security-sensitive organizations. The new Seed capital will support predictive modeling capabilities, engineering and go-to-market hiring, and broader coverage across platforms, languages, and regions.

GUDEA's oversubscribed Seed round positions the company to expand its role as a critical tool for organizations navigating complex information environments. Its recognition as a 2026 SXSW Pitch finalist and a 2026 Webby Award nominee underscores the platform's emerging influence. As narrative intelligence becomes a core business requirement, GUDEA aims to deliver earlier and more evidence-based views of emerging risk.
