Go.AI, a Chicago based provider of on-premises artificial intelligence infrastructure for regulated industries, has announced a substantial new funding round that strengthens its position in the compliance focused AI market. The company raised $85 million in Series A capital, bringing its total funding to date to $90 million. The investment was led by Updata Partners, with participation from existing investors GFT Ventures and LAUNCH.

Series A Funding and Investor Backing

The Series A round was led by Updata Partners, a growth equity firm based in Washington, D.C. with more than $3 billion in committed capital. Existing investors GFT Ventures and LAUNCH also participated, signaling continued confidence in the company's direction and commercial progress. The latest capital injection follows Go.AI's recent rebrand from Go Abacus and the earlier launch of The Go1, its on-premises hardware and software solution.

Purpose Built Infrastructure for Regulated Industries

Go.AI describes its platform as examiner-ready infrastructure that operates inside a customer's secure environment without exposing proprietary data to third parties. The company serves organizations where control, auditability, and regulatory readiness are essential, including banks, credit unions, and healthcare providers. Its fixed fee model also eliminates per-token pricing surprises, which can be a barrier for compliance minded institutions that want predictable technology costs.

Commercial Growth and Customer Momentum

Go.AI has expanded rapidly over the past year and now reports more than 200 customers across several highly regulated sectors. The company processes over 12.5 million queries per day through on-premises AI deployments, with primary focus areas spanning financial services, healthcare, aerospace and defense, and manufacturing. Annual recurring revenue has increased more than eightfold year over year, and the business remains profitable while continuing to scale its operations.

Planned Use of Series A Capital

The funding will be used to expand the engineering team and accelerate development of both the Go.OS software operating system and the company's hardware product line. Go.AI also plans to scale its go-to-market efforts as it moves beyond regulated industries into a broader set of compliance conscious organizations. These investments are intended to support continued product innovation, client education, and wider market adoption across multiple sectors.

Leadership Views on AI Adoption

Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer David Moscatelli said the company has grown from two people with an idea to a team of more than fifty. He emphasized that artificial intelligence does not have to be feared or misunderstood and can work alongside the people who use it. Updata Partners General Partner Carter Griffin added that Go.AI has built a deployable AI stack for regulated institutions, combining explosive growth with profitability and predictable pricing.

Education and Future Roadmap

Looking ahead, Go.AI plans to invest significantly in training and client advisory services to deepen customer understanding of secure, on-premises AI. The company is preparing a podcast series and expanded marketing initiatives that aim to counter fear based narratives surrounding artificial intelligence adoption. These educational efforts will show organizations how to adopt AI confidently while remaining within their existing governance and compliance frameworks.

With its new Series A funding, Go.AI is positioned to accelerate its mission of making private, compliant AI infrastructure accessible to institutions where risk is non-negotiable. The company's combination of rapid revenue growth, profitability, and a growing customer base suggests strong momentum in a demanding market. As it expands its team and product offerings, Go.AI aims to demonstrate that secure on-premises AI can be both practical and production-ready for regulated enterprises.
