Glimpse, an AI platform automating financial dispute management for consumer brands, has secured $35 million in a Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz. This investment, with participation from 8VC and Y Combinator, brings the company's total funding to $52 million. The capital will scale its platform, which helps brands recover revenue lost to invalid retailer deductions.

Addressing a Costly Industry Challenge

In the consumer packaged goods sector, brands frequently face financial deductions where retailers subtract fees from invoice payments. Many of these deductions are invalid, stemming from clerical errors or unsubstantiated claims that cause significant revenue leakage. This issue quietly erodes profit margins for brands, representing a major industry-wide challenge.

Traditionally, resolving these discrepancies has been a highly manual and inefficient process for finance teams. Analysts must navigate dozens of separate retailer portals and internal systems to gather scattered documents and reconcile line items. The sheer volume and complexity mean many invalid claims are never disputed, becoming accepted costs of business.

An AI-Powered Automation Solution

Glimpse addresses this challenge by deploying AI agents that automate the entire deduction management workflow. The platform logs into retailer systems, centralizes all necessary documentation, and intelligently classifies each deduction by its reason code. This initial step eliminates the most time-consuming manual data collection tasks and creates a unified workspace.

After classification, the system validates each charge against a brand’s internal data, including supply chain records and promotional calendars. When an invalid deduction is identified, Glimpse automatically compiles evidence and files a dispute on the brand's behalf. A human-in-the-loop process ensures quality assurance and manages follow-ups to drive resolution.

Demonstrating Significant Market Traction

Since its launch less than two years ago, Glimpse has demonstrated impressive market traction with 14x year-over-year growth. The company now serves over 200 retail brands, including household names like Suave and Chapstick, by delivering tangible financial results. Its platform boasts a 91% dispute win rate and reduces manual labor by up to 80 percent.

The platform's value is underscored by customer outcomes, such as Evermark removing its minimum dollar threshold for reviewing deductions. This change unlocked millions in previously lost revenue by enabling the review of every single claim. In another case, a Glimpse agent processed 17,000 deductions in under 24 hours, a task that would take a human team years.

Strategic Vision and Competitive Landscape

The company's success follows a strategic pivot by founders Akash Raju, Anuj Mehta, and Kushal Negi. Their exposure to the back-office chaos within retail led them to develop Glimpse and achieve a strong product-market fit. This journey highlights their deep understanding of the operational pain points faced by modern consumer brands.

With the new funding, Glimpse plans to deepen its retailer integrations and expand its platform's capabilities to address adjacent workflows. The company's long-term vision is to become the essential AI infrastructure powering the financial core of CPG brands. This ambition positions it to lead in the growing market for back-office automation solutions.

This latest funding round positions Glimpse to accelerate its mission of bringing advanced AI to the CPG industry's back-office operations. By transforming a tedious process into an automated, strategic function, the company helps brands strengthen their financial health. Glimpse's growth underscores a significant market need for intelligent tools that provide real operating leverage in a competitive retail environment.
