Brazilian deep tech startup Forlex has announced a landmark $32 million agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to significantly expand its technological infrastructure. This three-year deal will provide the legal AI specialist with access to advanced NVIDIA B200 GPUs, a critical component for large-scale generative AI. The investment is set to accelerate the company's service delivery, model development, and ambitious international growth plans.

Securing High-Performance Computing Power

The $32 million commitment secures high-performance computing resources for Forlex over the next three years. The agreement provides access to NVIDIA's state-of-the-art B200 GPUs, part of the Blackwell architecture. This hardware is essential for the intensive processes of training and operating sophisticated artificial intelligence models.

According to co-founder Daniel Bichuetti, computing power has become a primary obstacle to growth in the AI sector. With this new capacity, Forlex projects it will operate over 1,500 active GPUs by December 2026 for training and inference. This scale will enable the company to serve larger enterprise clients and secure significant international contracts.

Fueling Service Expansion and Proprietary AI

This enhanced infrastructure directly supports the three core pillars of Forlex's operations. It will bolster the LIVIA platform, a tool available to 1.5 million lawyers through a partnership with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). The deal also ensures capacity to serve corporate clients, including major brands like Natura and Qatar Airways.

The company is also advancing its two proprietary families of AI models with the new resources. The S-series models are specialized for nuanced legal and regulated industry analysis, while the V-series focuses on multimodal processing. This dual approach underscores Forlex's strategy of developing highly specialized, vertical-specific AI solutions for complex tasks.

Forlex has also developed HIVE, an innovative system designed to coordinate multiple AI agents for complex legal workflows. This solution is targeted at demanding environments such as large law firms, government bodies, and corporate legal departments. It represents a significant step in automating and streamlining high-stakes legal processes for enterprise users.

Strategic Growth and International Ambitions

The agreement with AWS is a cornerstone of Forlex's international expansion strategy. The company is set to launch its first U.S. operation in Silicon Valley this June, with Daniel Bichuetti leading the market entry. This move marks a pivotal moment as the Brazilian startup prepares to compete on the global stage.

Founded in 2023, Forlex has secured R$ 5.95 million in equity funding, including a seed round led by Vinci Ventures. A subsequent extension round was specifically aimed at financing its international expansion efforts. The startup has also accumulated approximately R$ 18 million in infrastructure grants from major technology providers.

Beyond its commercial deal with AWS, Forlex has cultivated strong industry partnerships. The company was one of three Brazilian startups selected for the global AWS Generative AI Accelerator (GAIA) program. It also maintains strategic alliances with NVIDIA and other key technology partners, solidifying its position within the AI ecosystem.

The $32 million infrastructure deal with AWS marks a transformative step for Forlex, positioning it for significant scaling. This strategic investment is a catalyst for its proprietary AI development and global market penetration. With this foundation, the Brazilian deep tech firm is poised to become a formidable competitor in the specialized legal AI industry.
