Exaforce, Inc., a provider of agentic AI driven security operations based in San Jose, California, and ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation have launched a new managed security service in Japan. The service, CTC-MSS AI SOC Service powered by Exaforce, became available on October 1, 2026. It is intended for enterprises that struggle to hire dedicated security operations center staff and handle large volumes of security alerts.

How the AI SOC Service Works

The service applies Exaforce AI agents known as Exabots to security monitoring, threat detection, and investigation tasks typically handled by managed security services and SOC teams. Exabots operate across cloud environments, identity systems, endpoints, and SaaS applications to prioritize alerts, determine root causes, assess impact, and propose response actions. This automation allows customer personnel to focus on decision making and internal coordination that require human judgment.

Platform and Contextual Data

At the core of the service is the Exaforce Realtime Data Platform, which functions as a security information and event management system. It correlates identity information, device and asset data, logs, configurations, and metadata to generate real-time context for each AI agent. This contextual layer helps Exabots make more accurate decisions during investigations.

False Positive Reduction and Faster Response

Exabots investigate every alert and close those identified as false positives with supporting evidence. According to implementation results, the approach reduces false positives by 90% compared with conventional operations, and customers receive only verified escalations based on Exabot findings. Reported outcomes also include up to 95% reduction in mean time to investigate and an average time from alert to response of under 20 minutes.

Automated Response and Continuous Operation

The platform proposes remediation actions based on investigation results and can automatically execute responses according to configured rules. ITOCHU Techno-Solutions sets which actions run automatically and which require approval based on each customer's requirements. AI agents continue investigating during nights and weekends, helping avoid alerts being carried over to the next business day.

SaaS Coverage and Natural Language Queries

The service extends threat detection to SaaS platforms including GitHub, Snowflake, Salesforce, and OpenAI, broadening visibility beyond traditional infrastructure. Security staff can query their own security data using natural language without mastering complex query languages, making investigative workflows more accessible. This capability reduces reliance on specialized analysts and helps teams investigate threats more intuitively across cloud and SaaS environments.

Executive Views on the Partnership

Exaforce CEO and co-founder Ankur Singla said the collaboration combines the company's Agentic SOC platform with ITOCHU Techno-Solutions' strong customer relationships and operational expertise in Japan. He described the partnership as an important step for expanding Exaforce's presence in the Japanese market. ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Senior Executive Officer Hirohito Ohashi added that the new model can transform SOC operations and help customers respond to threats faster.

Implementation and Support

ITOCHU Techno-Solutions provides domestic delivery, integration with existing products, initial configuration, and ongoing support for Japanese customers. The company offers templates based on customer environments and use cases to support smooth deployment. Exaforce works jointly with ITOCHU Techno-Solutions to address technical inquiries related to the underlying Agentic SOC technology.

The launch signals growing adoption of Agentic AI in enterprise security operations, particularly for organizations facing resource constraints. By automating alert investigation and response workflows, the service aims to reduce operational burden while improving speed and accuracy. ITOCHU Techno-Solutions and Exaforce are positioning the offering as a new option for Japanese businesses seeking stronger, more efficient security operations.
