EnforceShield, a Lithuanian legal technology company, has secured a €1.7 million seed round to advance its artificial intelligence driven approach to intellectual property enforcement. The investment was led by Vendep Capital with participation from FIRSTPICK and marks Vendep Capital's fourth announced investment from Fund IV. The company will use the capital to deepen its product capabilities, handle more complex enforcement processes and expand commercially in the United States.

A New Model for Brand Protection

Traditional brand protection tools typically stop at detection and leave legal teams with long queues of potential infringements to review manually. EnforceShield instead uses AI agents and built-in legal and platform-specific logic to decide whether cases are actionable and then carry out enforcement actions. This approach lets human lawyers and analysts focus on exceptions, repeat offenders and complex matters rather than routine takedown work or another dashboard of unresolved problems.

How the Platform Works

EnforceShield covers the full enforcement lifecycle from cross-platform detection and legal analysis to validation, takedown execution, monitoring and escalation. Its AI agents evaluate a company's intellectual property portfolio, available evidence, applicable laws, platform context and enforcement criteria before initiating action. The company operates a human-at-the-end model in which lawyers and analysts review outcomes and handle exceptions or more complex cases while routine infringements are processed automatically.

Traction and Team

EnforceShield currently serves more than 20 enterprise customers and removes an average of more than 33,500 intellectual property violations per month across its e-commerce customer base. Founder and CEO Rytis Rudzinskas previously worked for years as an IP enforcement attorney running these workflows for clients, which shaped the platform's legal and operational logic. He co-founded the company with CTO Aidis Stukas to encode that expertise into a system that can run autonomously.

Funding and Expansion Plans

The fresh capital will support expansion of the company's technical and product capabilities, including extending its AI agents beyond standardized takedowns to handle repeat offenders, escalations and more complex enforcement processes. EnforceShield also intends to grow its commercial presence in the United States and broaden the platform across the full intellectual property lifecycle. These product investments are intended to help brands protect themselves across more marketplaces where counterfeit listings, unauthorized sellers and cloned storefronts continue to spread.

Investor Perspective

Vendep Capital led the seed round as its fourth announced Fund IV investment and views EnforceShield as a strong example of deep domain knowledge becoming software. Artis Bisers, investment manager at Vendep Capital, said the firm looks for companies using AI to rebuild important business processes rather than simply producing more information for people to process. He highlighted the difficult legal workflow, early proof from demanding customers, and founders with the experience and appetite to build a category around it.

EnforceShield enters its next phase with meaningful early traction, a product that spans the enforcement workflow and a clear focus on the United States market. The company's approach reflects a broader shift in legal technology from human-led review to agent-based execution with human oversight at critical points. As generative AI makes intellectual property abuse cheaper and faster to scale, the demand for automated enforcement that resolves cases rather than merely flags them is likely to increase.
