Eldridge has acquired a significant ownership stake in Slovakia-based artificial intelligence company Sudolabs, establishing a strategic partnership aimed at expanding enterprise adoption of AI technologies. The transaction is expected to support Sudolabs’ growth in the United States while combining its technical capabilities with Eldridge’s network of businesses and investments. Sudolabs will continue operating from its headquarters in Slovakia under the leadership of Co-founder and CEO Jozef Petro.

Expanding Sudolabs in the United States

Founded in 2019, Sudolabs develops custom agentic AI systems and provides consulting and software engineering services for enterprise customers seeking to integrate artificial intelligence into their operations. Through its partnership with Eldridge, the company plans to accelerate its expansion in the U.S. market while continuing to serve an international enterprise client base. The announcement did not specify the exact size of Eldridge’s ownership stake or disclose a transaction value for the investment.

Building AI for Enterprise Operations

Sudolabs focuses on helping organizations implement AI across complex business processes, with applications ranging from system migrations and manufacturing optimization to workflow automation and data extraction. Its capabilities also extend to content generation, computer vision, mobile development, web products, and broader software engineering projects designed around enterprise requirements. The company positions its approach around delivering complete AI-enabled products rather than providing enterprises with access to individual models or isolated AI tools.

Creating a Flexible AI Infrastructure Layer

A central element of Sudolabs’ technology is a software layer designed to connect different AI models with companies’ existing systems, allowing organizations to adopt AI without becoming dependent on a single model provider. This architecture is intended to address implementation challenges while enabling businesses to use different models according to their operational needs, technical requirements, and evolving AI strategies. Sudolabs’ expertise extends across the large language model technology stack, including inference, orchestration, application development, data systems, and the engineering required to deploy AI within existing enterprise environments.

Strategic Partnership With Eldridge

Eldridge Chairman and CEO Todd Boehly said the investment reflects the holding company’s view that Sudolabs has developed differentiated capabilities for helping organizations deploy artificial intelligence at scale. Petro similarly emphasized the potential for companies capable of translating AI deployments into measurable improvements in productivity and financial performance, while positioning Sudolabs as a broader AI implementation partner for enterprises. Houlihan Lokey served as financial adviser to Sudolabs, Taylor Wessing provided legal counsel to the AI company, and Reed Smith acted as legal counsel to Eldridge in connection with the transaction.

Eldridge’s investment gives Sudolabs additional backing as the AI company seeks to expand its presence in the United States and deepen its work with enterprise customers adopting increasingly sophisticated AI systems. For Eldridge, the partnership adds an AI implementation specialist that could potentially support companies across its diversified portfolio, which spans areas including asset management, infrastructure, insurance, defense and security, critical minerals, and media. The transaction also highlights growing investor interest in companies focused not only on developing AI models, but on the software, engineering, and integration layers required to turn those technologies into operational enterprise applications.
