Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with India's National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) to foster collaboration in Agentic AI. This strategic alliance aims to bolster the innovation ecosystems in both Dubai and India, creating a powerful cross-border partnership. The agreement is set to facilitate the expansion of Indian technology firms into the emirate, reinforcing Dubai's growing status as a global hub for future technologies.

A Strategic Alliance for Technological Advancement

Under the terms of the agreement, both organizations will collaborate to forge strategic partnerships among key stakeholders across their respective innovation ecosystems. The cooperation will emphasize the exchange of critical knowledge and expertise in the rapidly evolving field of Agentic AI. Furthermore, the MoU outlines plans for launching joint initiatives, including specialized business events, designed to accelerate innovation and adoption across various sectors.

Empowering Indian Deeptech Expansion

A primary objective of this collaboration is to support leading Indian companies specializing in Agentic AI and deeptech. The agreement will help these firms establish and scale their operations from Dubai by providing access to significant business opportunities. This initiative connects them with the emirate’s extensive innovation ecosystem, including potential investors, partners, and a diverse customer base.

Dubai's Vision for an AI-Driven Future

H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, highlighted the initiative's importance for the business community. He stated that expanding international cooperation is key to building an integrated ecosystem that supports AI adoption and creates new economic growth. This partnership is a crucial part of Dubai's broader strategy to lead in advanced technologies and future industries.

Lootah emphasized that these efforts will strengthen Dubai’s leadership in advanced technologies and accelerate their integration into business models across all sectors. The goal is to enhance the competitiveness of the business community by helping companies capitalize on these powerful new tools. This forward-thinking approach positions Dubai at the forefront of the global transition towards an AI-powered economy.

Institutional Frameworks for Success

NASSCOM, representing India’s US$ 315 billion tech industry with over 3,500 members, brings immense expertise and a vast network to the partnership. To implement its vision, Dubai Chambers established the Executive Committee for Agentic AI in June. This committee is tasked with accelerating the adoption of these advanced technologies throughout Dubai's private sector and ensuring its readiness for global developments.

The committee's responsibilities are extensive, including approving specialized training tracks and designing incubators for Agentic AI companies. It will also support the development of firms specializing in AI solutions and promote knowledge sharing within the business community. These efforts are designed to enhance private sector competitiveness and solidify Dubai's leadership in future technologies.

This landmark agreement between Dubai Chambers and NASSCOM marks a significant step in fostering international technology collaboration. By combining Dubai's strategic vision and infrastructure with India's deeptech prowess, the partnership is poised to unlock new opportunities for growth. Ultimately, this alliance will strengthen the global AI landscape and drive mutual economic prosperity for both regions.
