Indonesian payment fintech company DOKU announced an organisational upgrade and new leadership appointments on 24 September 2026. The announcement follows a deepened strategic investment from Antom, the merchant payment and digitisation services unit of Ant International. The move builds on a partnership first announced in February 2026 and signals a new phase of collaboration across Southeast Asia.

Leadership Transition and New Appointments

Himelda Renuat, a co-founder who most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of DOKU and Head of Antom Indonesia. In this expanded role, she will lead DOKU's next phase of growth while overseeing Antom's business across the Indonesian market. Her appointment combines local market knowledge with Antom's regional and global capabilities.

Chris Yeo, who led DOKU as CEO since 2022, is stepping down from the role. During his tenure, Yeo refined the company's organisational and operational structure while growing transaction volume and forging the partnership with Ant International. He will now serve as Head of Antom Philippines, focusing on AI-powered merchant payment services in the Southeast Asian market.

Rebranding and Deepened Strategic Investment

In connection with the organisational upgrade, DOKU has been rebranded as 'DOKU by Antom'. The company continues to operate under its own name and licenses, with Antom acting as a strategic investor. The rebranding reflects a unified go-to-market strategy across DOKU, 2C2P, and Antom, and it highlights the stronger synergy among the three entities.

The deepened relationship focuses on closer integration with Antom's global merchant network, expanded collaboration with 2C2P, and broader financial services. DOKU will connect its local payment methods, merchant relationships, and regulatory standing in Indonesia to Antom's global merchant acquiring platform and the Alipay+ wallet gateway. The partners also plan to continue work on multi-currency solutions, cross-border payment processing, and merchant lending and treasury management tools.

Charting the Next Chapter: DOKU's 2027 Vision

Under Himelda's leadership, DOKU will remain focused on helping Indonesian businesses grow, whether they are small merchants taking their first online payment or enterprises expanding beyond the country's borders. Looking toward 2027, the company's roadmap centers on deepening relationships with existing merchants and extending into new industries and payment channels. These priorities rest on service excellence, product reliability, developer-first integration, and round-the-clock merchant support.

Executive Views on the Transition

Himelda Renuat said DOKU was built on almost 20 years of trust with its merchants and that this foundation is not changing. She noted that Antom and 2C2P support will help DOKU serve current merchants better and assist more Indonesian businesses in taking their first steps across borders. She also thanked Chris Yeo for the structure he helped shape and said it was an honor to continue the leadership journey.

Gary Liu, CEO of Antom, described the move as a natural next step in the partnership announced earlier this year, not a departure from it. He said the combination of DOKU's local expertise, Antom's global platform, and 2C2P's regional reach positions the group to deliver value across Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Liu added that the company is grateful to Chris Yeo for his leadership in building the partnership.

Worachat Luxkanalode, CEO of 2C2P, said the company looks forward to deepening its work with DOKU under the new structure. He explained that the combination of 2C2P's regional payment gateway capabilities and DOKU's local market leadership will help merchants scale confidently across Southeast Asia. This collaboration is expected to create a more connected payment ecosystem for businesses operating in multiple markets.

With new leadership, a strengthened alliance, and a clear 2027 roadmap, DOKU is positioning itself for its next chapter of growth. The company intends to preserve its long-standing merchant relationships while expanding its regional reach through Antom and 2C2P. The transition reflects a broader strategy to strengthen Indonesia's national market leadership and connect local businesses to global opportunities.
