Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup Ctruh has successfully secured $2.5 million in a seed funding round, bringing its total capital raised to $4.5 million. The investment was co-led by Inflection Point Ventures and Avinya Ventures, with significant participation from other firms and prominent angel investors. This capital injection will fuel the company's mission to build the foundational infrastructure for the spatial internet, making immersive 3D experiences universally accessible.

Addressing a Market Gap

For years, the adoption of 3D and extended reality (XR) technologies by businesses has been hindered by high costs, technical complexity, and the need for specialized hardware. This has largely kept the internet a flat, two-dimensional space, limiting the potential for truly immersive digital engagement. Ctruh aims to dismantle these barriers by providing a scalable, full-stack platform for creating and deploying these advanced experiences.

Core Technology and Innovation

At the heart of Ctruh's offering is its proprietary browser-native, low-code 3D engine, which allows high-fidelity experiences to run on any device without requiring app downloads. This is complemented by VersaAI, a generative AI platform that rapidly converts images, text, and video into production-ready 3D assets. Together, these technologies power the Commverse Studio, enabling brands to build immersive shopping environments without any coding.

Strategic Allocation of Capital

The newly acquired $2.5 million will be strategically deployed to accelerate the company's research and development efforts and advance product innovation. A significant portion of the funds is earmarked for international expansion, with plans to establish on-ground sales operations in the United States and the United Arab Emirates by 2026. This move will position Ctruh to capture a share of high-growth markets for spatial computing adoption.

Investor Confidence and Vision

Investors have expressed strong confidence in Ctruh's unique approach, highlighting its deep-tech differentiation in a crowded AI landscape. Vinay Bansal of IPV praised the company's patented 3D engine and its ability to make cutting-edge experiences scalable for everyday business use. Avinya Ventures noted that Ctruh is building the essential foundational layer necessary for the widespread adoption of the spatial internet.

The Future of Digital Interaction

Ctruh is entering a rapidly expanding market, with India's extended reality sector projected to surpass $66 billion by 2034. The company's technology is already serving diverse industries, including e-commerce, automotive, real estate, and healthcare, by simplifying the creation of 3D walkthroughs and AR demonstrations. This positions Ctruh as a key enabler for the next decade of digital interaction, which is expected to be dominated by 3D experiences.

This seed funding round marks a pivotal moment for Ctruh, empowering it to enhance its technological stack and expand its global footprint. By simplifying complex technology, the company is poised to democratize the creation of immersive digital experiences for businesses of all sizes. Ultimately, Ctruh's vision is to build the infrastructure that will define the next, more interactive era of the internet.
