Estonian billing and monetization platform Creem has raised €5 million in a seed funding round led by Inovo VC. The round included participation from existing investors Practica Capital and Antler, as well as several angel investors. This investment brings the company's total funding to €7 million and supports the next phase of its growth.

Funding details and investor support

Inovo VC led the seed round, with continued backing from Practica Capital and Antler. Angel investors Markus Villig, Timmu Tõke, Kaspar Tiri, Adam Jafer, and Fryd Wiatrowski also participated. Creem will use the fresh capital to scale Creem 2.0, expand its billing, monetization, and revenue management capabilities, and strengthen its position in the software financial infrastructure market.

A unified billing and monetization platform

Creem was founded in 2025 by Gabriel Ferraz and Alec Erasmus to build financial infrastructure for software companies. The platform is particularly focused on AI-native startups that sell internationally and need flexible payment operations. It brings together billing, payments, tax compliance, payouts, affiliate management, analytics, and revenue operations in a single system.

Creem 2.0 billing models

Creem 2.0 has been launched as an expanded version of the company's platform for software businesses. It supports usage-based billing, credit wallets, seat-based subscriptions, prepaid credits, and revenue splits. These models give software companies flexibility in how they charge customers, manage recurring revenue, and scale their offerings across different pricing structures.

Checkout and affiliate management

The platform also includes affiliate management, custom-domain checkout, and multiple payment methods. These features allow software companies to create a branded payment experience, track partner-driven sales, and manage customer transactions more effectively. By combining checkout and affiliate tools, Creem helps businesses reduce friction in international transactions and improve conversion rates for global customers.

AI agents and revenue automation

Creem is developing tools that allow AI agents to manage and optimize billing and revenue operations. Founders can configure and run their stores through AI-powered workflows, which reduces manual intervention. This capability is designed for AI-native startups that require automated financial infrastructure to scale efficiently across international markets.

Global compliance and payment expansion

The company plans to further develop agent-operated billing, affiliate and analytics tools, and marketing channel tracking. It will also expand global compliance and payouts across fiat and stablecoin payment rails. These improvements are intended to simplify cross-border revenue management for software companies operating in multiple jurisdictions and selling to global customers.

Founders and strategic vision

Founded by Gabriel Ferraz and Alec Erasmus, Creem targets a growing need for unified financial infrastructure among software sellers. The company's platform positions itself as a revenue operations layer that combines billing, payments, and compliance. With the new funding, Creem aims to accelerate product development and serve more AI-driven businesses internationally.

Addressing AI-native startup needs

The rise of AI-native software companies has increased demand for billing systems that support flexible pricing and automated revenue processes. Creem's platform addresses this by combining payments, tax compliance, payouts, affiliate management, and analytics. The company aims to become a key financial infrastructure provider for software startups that operate globally.

The €5 million seed round gives Creem additional resources to expand its platform and build more automated revenue tools. By focusing on AI agents and global payment support, the company is aligning with the needs of modern software businesses. The latest investment will help Creem scale its operations and strengthen its presence in the evolving billing and monetization market.
