Chilean startup Flama Hub has entered the Mexican market with a model designed to help restaurants improve delivery profitability. Co-founders Ignacio Pizarro and Diego Rivera, who have known each other since kindergarten, previously managed more than 8,000 restaurants and regional advertising at PedidosYa. They founded Flama Hub in late 2025 after repeatedly hearing that restaurant owners did not know how much they truly earned from delivery.

A Delivery Management Partner for Restaurants

Flama Hub positions itself as an outsourced delivery manager for restaurants, combining direct consulting with technology tools. The company operates in more than 200 locations across 90 clients in Chile and currently has a team of 16 people. Its early development has been supported by Corfo, Chile's economic development agency, and its founders bring direct operational experience from managing more than 8,000 restaurants at PedidosYa.

Three Business Lines Under One Roof

Flama Hub's model rests on three connected services. The first is consulting that improves a restaurant's presence on delivery apps through product photography, visibility strategy, paid advertising, and commission renegotiation. The second is software that integrates delivery platform data from Uber Eats, Rappi, and PedidosYa with in-store sales so owners can see the exact margin per order. The third is a commission-free direct ordering and delivery channel, with shipping costs borne by the consumer.

Why Mexico and Why Now

The expansion into Mexico was driven by inbound demand rather than active prospecting. Restaurants in the country contacted Flama Hub looking for a service that, according to the founders, did not yet exist in that market. The startup has already closed an agreement with Grupo Gastronómico Sinestesia, a holding company that operates several brands and more than 20 locations, along with seven additional restaurants.

Early Results and Market Context

The founders point to measurable outcomes to illustrate the model's potential, including one restaurant that grew monthly delivery sales from 12 million to 125 million Chilean pesos. Pizarro plans to relocate to Mexico between December and February, leading the expansion alongside a country manager. Flama Hub will then hire a local team of developers and operations staff to support its new clients.

Flama Hub's arrival in Mexico reflects a broader opportunity to serve restaurants that want stronger margins and clearer data in their delivery operations. By packaging consulting, data integration, and a commission-free direct channel, the company is targeting a gap that many small and mid-sized food businesses face. Its early traction in Chile and initial Mexican partnerships will now test whether the delivery manager model can scale across the region.
