Brio Platform and Losange Finance have merged and relaunched as Stellé, a fund operations partner serving private capital managers across North America. The combined entity unites seven years of fund administration experience with nine years of live fund operations technology that supports more than 100 funds and 3,000 limited partners. Stellé will operate from Montreal and Toronto with a team of 25, led by CEO Audrey Ostiguy and President Claude Olivier Girard.
A Combined Model for Fund Operations
Stellé brings together Losange Finance's fund administration and accounting services, which have operated since 2019, with Brio Platform's software, which was built and stress-tested over nine years in live fund operations. The new firm targets venture capital, private equity, real estate, and multi-family office managers, including those with SPV programs, parallel funds, and evergreen vehicles. Its leaders say private capital managers no longer have to choose between outsourcing administration and operating software themselves.
Technology and Human Expertise Working Together
The company positions its platform for the AI era, where AI models and expert humans work together to improve how fund work gets done. Stellé will deliver fund administration, fund accounting, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting directly on the Brio platform. Accountants and operations specialists from the Losange team will use the same system, giving general partners, limited partners, and the Stellé team one shared data set.
A Single Source of Fund Data
By combining services and software, Stellé gives fund managers a centralized view of every fund record, from capital activity to investor reporting. The shared system eliminates fragmentation and creates a single reconciled record across the fund, helping reduce errors and accelerate turnaround times. Managers can choose what their own teams handle and what they hand to Stellé's specialists, while limited partners receive a professional, branded experience.
Leadership Perspectives
Audrey Ostiguy said AI is changing the private capital industry and raising the bar for the partners that firms trust with their funds, requiring both reliable technology and accountable specialists. Claude Olivier Girard noted that clients are audited every year and their limited partners expect every number to be right, which demands attention to detail and an understanding of complex structures. He added that delivering that expertise on the Brio platform improves efficiency while giving clients greater visibility between reporting periods.
Origins and Market Footprint
Losange Finance was founded in Montreal in 2019 by Claude Olivier Girard, initially as a fractional CFO practice for startups before building a fund administration business for private capital managers. Brio launched in 2017 as an internal platform at Brightspark Ventures, built to support the firm's LP operations, SPV model, and compliance requirements, and it was spun out as an independent company in 2025. Stellé now carries forward the clients, teams, and track records of both organizations across North America.
The merger creates an integrated fund operations partner that combines specialized human accountability with a modern technology foundation. By centralizing fund data and workflows, Stellé aims to reduce fragmentation, speed up reporting, and give fund managers a clearer view of their operations. Its longer term vision is to be an end-to-end partner for private capital managers as the industry moves into the AI era.
