Bengaluru-based smart kitchen technology company Beyond Appliances has secured ₹1,100 million (US$11.4 million) in a Series B funding round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Dharana Capital and other investors. The startup builds connected kitchen appliances such as Android-powered chimneys and smart hobs for modern Indian homes. The fresh capital will support research and development, new product segments, and a new manufacturing facility as the company scales its operations.
Funding Details and Investor Backing
Fireside Ventures led the round, while Dharana Capital and a group of undisclosed investors also participated. This marks the third consecutive round led by Fireside Ventures after a US$2 million Seed investment in November 2024 and a US$4 million Series A in August 2025. The company, founded in August 2024 by Eshwar K Vikas and Rakesh Patil, is positioning itself in the growing smart kitchen appliance segment.
Use of Funds and Manufacturing Expansion
The proceeds will be deployed toward research and development and the establishment of a new manufacturing plant in South or West India. Beyond Appliances currently operates two facilities in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru, producing approximately 90% of its products in-house. The company also plans to introduce ovens within the next 9 to 12 months as it broadens its kitchen appliance portfolio.
Product Portfolio and Technology
Beyond Appliances has expanded its lineup across Android chimneys, plug-and-play chimneys, smart hobs, and cooktops. Its flagship Android-powered chimney includes a display that supports OTT and music applications, cooking reminders, and grocery list integrations with Zepto and Blinkit. The device also offers Chef Verse curated recipes and 3D suction technology, while the recently introduced Cube Chimney targets compact kitchens and rental homes.
Retail Growth and Omnichannel Strategy
The company follows an omnichannel approach, with 60% of products sold online and the remainder through offline channels. It has a retail presence across roughly 20 select stores in Bengaluru and serves around 1,200 customers in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and Delhi NCR. Beyond Appliances operates three exclusive outlets and has a pipeline of 15 to 20 stores, with plans to expand offline presence to 10 additional cities over the next three years.
Financial Performance and Growth Targets
The startup recorded net revenue of ₹400 million in FY26 and reports that 15% of its revenue comes from customer referrals. It has also doubled its marketplace market share over the past year, reflecting stronger consumer adoption across online channels. Looking ahead, Beyond Appliances aims to reach ₹5,000 million in annual recurring revenue within three years while maintaining a portfolio focused exclusively on kitchen appliances.
Sector Momentum and Competitive Landscape
Smart kitchen technology is gaining traction as urban Indian households seek connected, convenient, and energy-efficient cooking solutions. Startups such as Upliance.ai, EDT, and Curaa have recently raised capital to expand their kitchen appliance portfolios. In the broader home appliance market, investors are also backing companies like Karban, NUOS, and Nester as consumers increase spending on interiors and complementary devices.
Beyond Appliances' latest funding round positions the company to deepen its manufacturing capability, broaden its product range, and strengthen its retail footprint. The company's focus on connected kitchen appliances aligns with rising demand for smarter and more efficient home solutions in India. With backing from Fireside Ventures and Dharana Capital, it now faces the challenge of scaling operations while competing in an increasingly active consumer technology market.
