Arab Therapy, an AI-powered mental health platform, has successfully closed a $2 million Pre-Series A funding round to enhance its services for Arabic speakers. The investment was led by Jordan's Manara Ventures, with participation from Anara Impact Fund and Saudi-based Value Makers Studio. This capital injection is earmarked for regional expansion and further development of its culturally relevant digital mental healthcare solutions.

Strategic Expansion and Platform Enhancement

The company intends to use the new funding to accelerate its growth across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. A key objective is to scale its integrated, AI-driven platform to reach more individuals seeking personalized mental healthcare. This strategic push aims to solidify Arab Therapy's position as a leading provider in the underserved regional market.

Arab Therapy operates on a dual model, offering services directly to consumers and through enterprise programs for employee wellbeing. Its platform features a comprehensive content library, native Arabic AI tools, and online therapy with licensed specialists. The clinical framework is supervised by certified professionals affiliated with Germany's University of Hamburg, ensuring high standards of care.

Addressing a Critical Market Need

The platform directly addresses a significant gap in the global digital health landscape, which is largely dominated by English-language services. With over 400 million Arabic speakers in the MENA region and millions more in the diaspora, access to culturally appropriate care is limited. Arab Therapy provides a clinically validated, Arabic-first solution designed to meet this substantial unmet need.

Demand for mental health support is growing across the Arab world, alongside an increasing willingness to seek professional help. However, services remain under-resourced in many countries, creating challenges for those in need of support. Arab Therapy's digital approach helps overcome traditional barriers to accessing linguistically and culturally suitable mental healthcare.

Investor Confidence and Vision

Investors have expressed strong confidence in the company's mission to build essential mental health infrastructure for the Arab region. Luma Fawaz of Manara Ventures highlighted the fund's commitment to supporting Jordanian founders with regional impact. Similarly, Nadia Moukaddam from Anara Impact Fund noted that the team is ideally positioned to lead the market by bridging a critical cultural gap.

Moataz Abuonoq of Value Makers Studio emphasized that combining AI with deep cultural relevance can transform access to high-quality care. Echoing this sentiment, Arab Therapy's CEO and co-founder, Dr. Tareq Dalbah, stated the company was founded to make support accessible. He affirmed that this new funding will enable faster expansion into new markets and enhance product offerings.

This $2 million funding round marks a pivotal moment for Arab Therapy, empowering it to scale its innovative mental health solutions. The investment underscores growing recognition of the need for culturally sensitive digital health services in the Arabic-speaking world. As the company expands its reach, it is poised to significantly improve access to quality mental healthcare for millions.
