Airties, a global leader in AI-powered connectivity solutions, has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Aprecomm, a provider of self-healing network management software. This strategic acquisition is set to accelerate Airties' expansion into high-growth broadband markets across Asia and South America. The move combines the strengths of both companies to enhance the quality of experience for subscribers and empower internet service providers (ISPs) with advanced network management tools.

Strategic Expansion into High-Growth Markets

A primary driver for the acquisition is Airties' ambition to penetrate rapidly growing broadband markets. The company has specifically targeted India, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and South America, where the demand for intelligent connectivity is expanding at an extraordinary rate. Metin Taskin, CEO of Airties, emphasized that Aprecomm's strong position in these regions provides an unmatched foundation for accelerating this strategic geographic expansion and serving new customers.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, India, Aprecomm brings an established footprint in these key developing markets. Since its founding in 2016, the company has built a significant presence, currently managing over seven million home and business locations for more than 50 ISPs worldwide. This existing infrastructure and customer base offer Airties an immediate and substantial entry point to serve a new segment of the global broadband industry effectively.

Enhancing AI-Driven Network Management

The deal also creates significant synergies in product development and AI expertise, aligning with Airties' vision for the future of home networking. The company aims to help ISPs transition to agentic AI platforms, where networks can autonomously anticipate issues, adapt to changing conditions, and act to optimize performance. Aprecomm's AI-native platform and expertise in self-healing networks are expected to be instrumental in advancing this objective for the combined entity.

Aprecomm's leadership views the acquisition as a validation of their founding vision to deliver a more intelligent and reliable broadband experience. Pramod Gummaraj, CEO of Aprecomm, stated that joining Airties provides a broader platform to extend their impact globally. CTO Guharajan Sivakumar highlighted the strength of their AI-native, cloud-native, and vendor-agnostic architecture as a foundation for smarter, scalable connectivity solutions worldwide.

Complementary Product Portfolios for a Broader Market

The two companies bring complementary go-to-market strategies that will enable the combined organization to serve a wider spectrum of service providers. Airties has historically focused on the world's leading Tier-1 operators with a comprehensive suite designed for large-scale fiber, cable, and fixed wireless deployments. In contrast, Aprecomm's portfolio was purpose-built to address the specific economic and ARPU profiles of ISPs in developing markets.

Following the transaction's close, Aprecomm will operate as a subsidiary of Airties, ensuring continuity for its existing customers and markets. This structure will allow the new entity to offer tailored solutions under either the Airties or Aprecomm brand, depending on customer requirements and market dynamics. The combined product suite will provide the flexibility needed to serve a diverse range of ISPs, from global giants to regional providers.

This acquisition marks a significant step for Airties, solidifying its leadership in AI-driven connectivity management while positioning it for growth in new global markets. By integrating Aprecomm's technology and regional expertise, Airties enhances its ability to deliver high-quality broadband experiences across a broader customer base. The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to be finalized later in 2026, paving the way for a new chapter of innovation.
