This financial commitment is part of a broader partnership aimed at jointly developing advanced AI models for humanoid machines. Through this investment, DeepSeek has acquired a 2.31% stake in Unitree, securing 933,399 shares via a strategic placement in the company's Shanghai initial public offering. The agreement establishes a framework for mutual preference between the two Hangzhou-based technology firms. The partnership dictates that Unitree will give preference to DeepSeek for model-training services and other technical AI solutions.
