French consultancy Singulier and its German counterpart Ommax have announced a merger, creating a formidable pan-European platform. This new entity specializes in guiding businesses through digital, data, and artificial intelligence transformations. The combined group boasts over 400 professionals and projects revenues between €80 and €100 million, signaling a major consolidation in the market.
A Strategic European Consolidation
The newly formed group establishes a significant presence in key European hubs, including Paris, Munich, London, and Milan. This strategic expansion is designed to better serve a client base of private equity firms and large international corporations. The merger reflects a broader trend of consolidation within the European AI consulting sector as client needs become more sophisticated.
Mathieu Ferel, co-founder of Singulier, emphasized the strong cultural and operational alignment between the two firms. He noted their complementary geographical footprints and expertise as a key driver for the partnership. This natural synergy became apparent as the firms often encountered each other during private equity transactions.
Meeting the Demand for Scalable AI
The market is shifting from AI experimentation to large-scale industrial deployment, creating new challenges for businesses. Companies now require partners capable of translating ambitious AI strategies into tangible, measurable operational outcomes. This merger directly addresses the growing demand for consultancies that can manage the entire transformation lifecycle.
Leaders from both firms highlighted the strategic rationale behind the union. Toni Stork, CEO of OMMAX, stated the real challenge is delivering AI's potential at scale across an organization. Rémi Pesseguier, CEO of Singulier, added that the partnership closes the critical gap between strategy and execution where value is often lost.
The combined entity offers clients significantly enhanced capabilities for their transformation journeys. With a team of over 400 experts, the platform provides greater delivery capacity and deeper technological and sector-specific knowledge. This integrated approach supports clients from initial AI strategy and due diligence through to full-scale implementation and value creation.
Company Backgrounds and Financial Backing
Founded in Munich in 2011, Ommax established itself as a leader in AI-first management consulting. The firm has demonstrated consistent organic growth of around 40% annually over the last decade. It serves an impressive roster of clients, including major corporations like Siemens, Chanel, and Lufthansa.
Singulier, established in Paris in 2017, quickly became a key advisor for private equity funds and their portfolio companies. The firm has worked with prominent clients such as Ardian, Bridgepoint, and PAI Partners. A late 2023 funding round of €5 million helped accelerate its initial international development plans.
The transaction is financially supported by private equity firm Eurazeo, which invested in OMMAX in 2025 to fuel its global expansion. The founders of both consultancies will remain at the helm of the combined group, ensuring leadership continuity. Notably, Singulier's early investor, Founders Future, has reinvested in the new, larger structure.
This strategic merger between Ommax and Singulier marks the emergence of a major new force in Europe's AI consulting landscape. The combined entity is uniquely positioned to help businesses bridge the gap between AI ambition and measurable impact. With ambitious plans to triple in size over the next five years, the group is set to lead the charge in AI-driven business transformation.
