Startup Researcher has mapped 30 women leading Australian startups that announced qualifying financing in 2026. The selection brings together CEOs and co-CEOs across healthtech, fintech, quantum computing, industrial AI, biotechnology, and consumer brands, based on public information available through November 4, 2026. The slide presents the leaders alphabetically by first name.

Methodology
This piece highlights leading women in Australia's startup ecosystem in 2026. We identified women serving as CEOs or co-CEOs of unlisted, Australia-based startups and scaleups as of November 4, 2026, using their companies' largest publicly disclosed qualifying financings announced between January 1 and November 4, 2026 as the basis for selection. Research draws on company, investor, university, and government announcements, supplemented by credible media reporting. Financing figures include equity rounds, SAFEs, equity crowdfunding, and combined investment and grant packages, with tranches combined only when explicitly part of the same round. Financing amounts were compared in U.S. dollars. Fundraising targets, standalone grants, and lifetime funding totals were excluded. Names appear alphabetically by first name.
