1club, a developer of artificial intelligence-native software for sports and activity businesses, has raised €2.2 million in Seed funding. The round was backed by LAUNCHub Ventures and BrightCap Ventures. The company plans to use the capital to accelerate product development, grow its team, and expand an international footprint that already spans more than 40 countries.

Addressing a Fragmented Technology Landscape

1club was founded on the belief that sports businesses deserve better software than the disconnected tools currently available. Many clubs, gyms, and studios rely on separate systems for memberships, bookings, payments, marketing, websites, and member data. This fragmentation adds administrative work, reduces visibility into the business, and makes it harder for owners to focus on their members.

An AI-Native Platform for Daily Operations

The platform integrates memberships, scheduling, payments, billing, reporting, websites, marketing automation, review management, and member engagement in a single system. Its AI layer is designed to answer questions, automate repetitive tasks, spot opportunities, communicate with members, improve pricing, and eventually take action on behalf of owners. The company positions this approach as a way to give operators more leverage and reduce busywork.

Global Traction Across Diverse Activities

1club reports that it is already used by businesses in more than 40 countries across four continents. Its customer base spans more than 10 sports and activities, including tennis, padel, climbing, karate, jiu-jitsu, Pilates, yoga, stretching, fitness, and kids' sports academies. Despite differences in schedules and formats, owners share common needs around memberships, bookings, payments, and member relationships.

Founder Experience and Company Origins

1club is led by co-founder and CEO Miro Miroslavov, who previously spent more than a decade building OfficeRnD. After planning a break from startups, he saw an opportunity to combine his experience in global SaaS products with his passion for sports. The company was built AI-native from day one, reflecting a broader shift in how software can support operators.

Planned Use of the New Capital

The €2.2 million investment will be directed toward product and AI development, team growth, service improvements, and international expansion. The company stated that the funding provides additional resources but that the most important milestone remains customer trust. The raise is intended to help 1club move faster as it responds to daily feedback from active users.

A Vision Beyond Club Management

Beyond management software, 1club is developing the 1club Sports Network, where people can discover clubs and book activities near them. The long-term vision includes connecting sports businesses, individuals, and companies into a seamless sports ecosystem. The company aims to make being active a more natural part of everyday life by reducing scheduling and booking friction.

What Comes Next

With additional capital and growing adoption, 1club is preparing to scale its product and reach new markets. The company will continue investing in AI capabilities that handle administrative work and support owners as they manage complex operations. Its leadership views the announcement as an early step rather than the central milestone.

1club is positioning itself as an infrastructure provider for the sports industry with a platform that spans daily operations and member engagement. Its Seed funding, global traction, and AI-native approach reflect a broader ambition to modernize how activities are managed and experienced. As the company expands its team and product capabilities, it intends to support clubs, gyms, and studios on a larger scale.
