Dapta, a provider of artificial intelligence sales agents for small and medium-sized businesses, announced a US$6 million Seed funding round led by Chingona Ventures. The round included participation from Crew Capital, Broom Ventures, and Cometa VC, alongside prior investors 500 Global and Fen Ventures. The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate expansion across the United States and Latin America, advance product development, and grow its team.
Targeting a Fast Growing SMB Market
Dapta's AI sales agent, Dapti, instantly answers, qualifies, and schedules meetings without human intervention the moment a prospect reaches out. The platform first found traction among Spanish-speaking small business owners in the United States, a segment that has grown by 44% over the last five years. Dapta now serves small and medium-sized businesses across the United States and Latin America, with particular strength among financial services firms, home services companies, law firms, and insurance brokers.
Investor Backing and Company Momentum
Chingona Ventures led the round, with additional backing from Crew Capital, Broom Ventures, and Cometa VC. The company previously raised US$1.4 million in Pre-Seed funding in 2024. Rapid adoption has helped Dapta double revenue in the past six months, and the company expects annual revenue to reach more than US$4 million.
Social Media Driven Customer Acquisition
Dapta has built a social media following of more than 400,000 users by producing content focused on artificial intelligence for small businesses. The company reports that Dapti is already used by more than 200,000 users and is adding upwards of 4,000 new users every week. The vast majority of these users are acquired through Dapta's own social channels, which highlights how ready small and medium-sized businesses are to adopt AI tools.
Customer Results and Real World Impact
According to internal company data, businesses using Dapti are experiencing contact rates that are two times higher than before. Dapta customers include Miami Tech & Arts University, Nona Cleaning in Orlando, Baur Pools in New Jersey, and Aether Mechanical in Denver. Ivan Comejo, chief operating officer of Aether Mechanical, said the technology has directly increased revenues by more than 20% without adding administrative overhead.
Investor and Founder Perspectives
Chingona Ventures founding partner Samara Hernandez noted that small and medium-sized businesses face enormous pressure to respond to leads instantly, while large companies are adopting AI at roughly twice the rate of the smallest businesses. She added that Dapti gives a small team the same always-on response a big company gets from a full sales staff. Founder Nicolás Rojas believes every SMB will have AI agents just as they have physical addresses, phone numbers, and websites.
Future Growth Plans
The new Seed funding will support Dapta's expansion across the United States and Latin America. The company also plans to advance its technology and product development by broadening the capabilities of its AI sales agents. In addition, Dapta will invest in customer acquisition and continue building out its team to meet rising demand.
Dapta's Seed round highlights the growing demand for artificial intelligence tools that help small and medium-sized businesses compete with larger organizations. With rapid user growth, strong social media traction, and rising revenue, the company has demonstrated a clear product market fit. The new capital positions Dapta to expand its reach, enhance its AI sales agents, and build a stronger international presence across the Americas.
