About MentorPitch
MentorPitch is built on the POEM Framework® created by Tomi Davies (TD), which emphasizes five pillars for startup development: Vision, Proposition, Organization, Economics, and Milestones. Through this structure, the program empowers founders to navigate key challenges, from customer acquisition to funding readiness.
- Format: 8 weeks of structured mentorship and networking.
- Focus: Supporting Nigerian startups with Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), active revenue, and growth ambitions.
- Sectors: EdTech, AgriTech, Renewable Energy, Digital Trade, CleanTech, Smart Cities, SaaS, Logistics, and technologies including AI, VR/AR, and IoT.
Eligibility Criteria
Startups must:
- Operate in Nigeria with a legally registered business.
- Have an MVP, paying customers, and 6–24 months of revenue.
- Have raised at least $650 in pre-seed support (founder, family, friends, fans).
- Be planning to raise between $16,250 and $260,000 by the end of 2025.
- Have a valuation under $975,000.
- Feature a coachable team, including at least one female founder.
