The Regis Ohia Foundation (ROF) has opened applications for its 2025 Entrepreneurship Grant, designed to support young Nigerian entrepreneurs with funding, mentorship, and tailored business knowledge. The program is focused on bridging the gap between opportunity and potential by investing in enterprises that create social and economic impact.

About the Grant

The grant targets early-stage Nigerian businesses within specific priority sectors. Through a mix of virtual accelerator training, mentorship, and a final live pitch event, the program equips founders with the skills, exposure, and resources they need to scale their businesses.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Nigerian citizen, aged 18–40 years.
  • Business must be located in Lagos State.
  • Businesses must operate within Agribusiness, Healthcare, Education, or Recycling.
  • Founder of a legally registered business in Nigeria (CAC certificate required).
  • Businesses must be 1–4 years old, active, and with clear growth or impact goals.
  • Available to attend all virtual sessions.
  • Must follow all Regis Ohia Foundation social media pages.

Program Timeline

  • Application Deadline: 31 August 2025
  • Accelerator Program: September 2025 (4 weekly virtual sessions)
  • Final Physical Pitch: 31 October 2025, Lekki, Lagos
  • Grant Winners Announced: 8 November 2025 at Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos

    • 1st Place: ₦2.5 million (~$1,625)
    • 2nd Place: ₦1.5 million (~$975)
    • 3rd Place: ₦1 million (~$650)

Application Process

  1. Stage 1: Submit applications by 31 August 2025 with the required details.
  2. Stage 2: Top 50 applicants join the September Accelerator Program (virtual).
  3. Stage 3: Successful graduates are invited to the physical pitch in Lekki.
  4. Stage 4: Grant winners announced on 8 November 2025 at the Civic Centre, Lagos.

Applicants must also submit:

  • A government-issued ID.
  • CAC registration certificate.
  • A 2-minute video pitch (uploaded on YouTube, link submitted with application).
