Applications are now open for the MassChallenge UK 2026 early-stage accelerator, the fourth cohort hosted by the organization. Based in East London, the program is designed to connect high-potential startups with a network of experts, corporations, and communities to foster growth and impact. The accelerator operates on a zero-equity, no-fee model, allowing founders to retain full ownership of their companies while receiving hands-on support, mentorship, and access to an ecosystem of industry partners and investors.

• Program Duration: June 23 to October 29, 2026
• Location: The program is based in East London, with in-person events in London and Lausanne, Switzerland, supplemented by online activities.
• Concluding Event: The program will finish in October with an Awards Ceremony in London.

Industry Focus

• Primary Tracks: The program features two main tracks for startups using technology to transform industries and society: AI & Autonomy and Cybersecurity, and Foodtech & Agtech.
• AI & Autonomy Sub-sectors: This includes Robotics & Autonomous Vehicles, Sustainable & Efficient Industry, Perceptual Intelligence, Conversational AI, and Generative AI for Design.
• Foodtech & Agtech: Focuses on new ingredient, processing, and formulation capabilities for the global food industry.
• Open Applications: Startups from any industry creating positive impact that would benefit from the program’s mentorship, content, and partner connections are also encouraged to apply.

• Non-Dilutive Cash Prizes: The opportunity to compete for up to CHF 1 million in non-dilutive cash prizes from MassChallenge Switzerland, plus a specific prize of £20,000 for the best startup in the UK program.
• Proven Model: A model that has assisted over 65% of finalists in raising funds during or immediately after the program.
• Office Space: Complimentary office space is provided for the duration of the program in the Royal Docks in London.

Eligibility Criteria

• Concept: Startups should have impactful products or technologies with the potential for substantial economic growth and societal transformation. The concept must be viable, with demonstrated traction, and scalable, with market-competitive pricing.
• Funding and Sales: Applicants should have raised less than £3 million in capital and generated less than £3 million in sales. Incorporation is not a prerequisite.
• Connection & Travel: A strategic connection with the UK is required. Participants should be prepared to travel to London and Switzerland for key events, totaling up to 10 days over the four-month program.
