MakeO and Zenyum, a combined consumer aligner and oral care platform operating across Asia, have raised US$10 million in a new funding round. The investment was led by Singularity AMC, with participation from leading funds and family offices based in India and Singapore. Announced on October 13, 2026, the funding is expected to support the group's expansion across larger Asia and India while strengthening its shared technology and manufacturing capabilities.

A Unified Asian Platform

Zenyum became part of the MakeO group earlier in 2026, bringing together a combined network of around 1,100 partner dentists. The network spans India, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan. This integration created one of Asia's largest aligner and oral care platforms, strengthening the group's clinical reach and operational scale across the region.

Funding Purpose and Regional Expansion

The fresh capital will be used to deepen Zenyum's dentist network across Southeast Asia and North Asia. It will also help strengthen the shared technology stack and expand the group's manufacturing capacity. In addition, Zenyum said it continues to actively evaluate further acquisitions across India and wider Asia as part of its broader platform strategy.

India as a Manufacturing Hub

India plays a central role in the group's strategy as a manufacturing and innovation base for the region. MakeO operates an integrated aligner planning and manufacturing facility in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region that holds US-FDA 510(k) clearance. The group describes the site as one of the largest and most advanced of its kind globally, with aligners designed and built in India and then worn by consumers across Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan.

Leadership Perspectives

Julian Artopé, Founder and CEO of Zenyum, said joining the MakeO group gave Zenyum access to one of the most advanced aligner manufacturing and planning operations in the world. He explained that the new funding lets the company bring that quality and scale to more consumers across Southeast and North Asia. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining the clinical rigor that dentists and patients expect.

Dr. Arpi Mehta, Co-Founder and CEO of MakeO, said Southeast Asia has always been central to the group's ambition of building Asia's leading aligner and oral care platform. She noted that the raise enables further investment in Zenyum's growth, the shared India manufacturing base, and the next phase of mergers and acquisitions. Dr. Mehta added that the group remains focused on scaling across the region.

Financial Health and Market Position

The MakeO and Zenyum group has crossed SGD 70 million in annual recurring revenue and has been sustainably EBITDA profitable. According to the announcement, this financial position supports the group's expansion plans and its active evaluation of acquisition opportunities. The company is now looking to scale its operations further across Asia's competitive oral care and aligner market.

The latest funding round positions MakeO and Zenyum to accelerate their growth in Asia's consumer aligner and oral care sector. With fresh capital, an advanced manufacturing base in India, and a broad dentist network, the group is well placed to pursue both organic expansion and further acquisitions across the region. The investment reinforces its stated goal of building one of Asia's largest aligner and oral care platforms.
