UAE-based healthtech startup Vitalls has secured a US$1.5 million investment commitment from Singapore-based EST Growmore, the investment arm of EST Group. The announcement was made during the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit on October 21, 2026, and the agreement includes an option for a further US$1 million. Founded in 2023 by Mehdi Bouchenak, Vitalls develops an artificial intelligence-powered digital health passport that enables individuals and families to securely store, manage, and share medical records.

Addressing Cross-Border Health Record Fragmentation

Many people move between cities, countries, and healthcare systems, yet their medical history rarely moves with them. Records remain scattered across clinics, laboratories, and borders, often in different languages and formats, which leads to repeated tests, delayed care, and incomplete information. Vitalls gives individuals one secure, user-controlled place to own their complete health record and share it, with consent, with any provider they choose.

Investment Terms and Anchor Role

Under the agreement, EST Growmore will invest US$1.5 million in Vitalls' Seed round and holds an option to commit an additional US$1 million. The agreement was signed by Mehdi Bouchenak, Founder of Vitalls, and Dr. Sindhu Bhaskar, Chairman of EST Group. The investment reflects a shared conviction that people should own their health history and carry it with them wherever they live, work, or travel.

Strategic Synergies Across the Ecosystem

Beyond capital, the partnership opens access to EST Growmore's investment ecosystem, including group telecom and healthcare portfolio companies. The two organizations will explore synergies across distribution, partnerships, and product development to speed Vitalls' growth in the region and internationally. This network is expected to support faster market entry and stronger commercial capabilities for the digital health platform.

Leadership Perspectives

Mehdi Bouchenak said the agreement is a major step for Vitalls because it confirms that the problem the company is solving is real and urgent. He added that the commitment from an investor of Dr. Sindhu Bhaskar's experience validates the need for patient-owned health records. Dr. Bhaskar stated that his team studied the problem and is convinced, as millions of people live, work, and travel away from home while their records stay scattered across clinics and countries.

About Vitalls and EST Growmore

Vitalls is an AI-powered digital health passport platform founded in the UAE and built on a privacy-first principle, with user data encrypted and protected. EST Growmore is a Singapore-registered Variable Capital Company fund specializing in cross-border investments and structured equity financing. The fund deploys capital globally across technology, healthcare, agriculture, and sustainable development.

Development and Rollout Plans

The fresh capital will support the development and rollout of Vitalls' digital health passport. The company is targeting internationally mobile individuals, families, and enterprises that need portable, secure health records when moving across healthcare systems. The partners will also explore product development initiatives that align with EST Group's broader telecommunications and healthcare investment portfolio, aiming to reduce repeated tests and improve continuity of care.

The transaction highlights growing investor confidence in healthtech solutions that address medical data portability. Vitalls aims to give individuals control over their health history while enabling more efficient, connected care across borders. With anchor funding, an option for additional capital, and strategic support from EST Growmore, the startup is positioned to expand its platform regionally and internationally.
