Funding from Qualcomm Ventures, Labcorp, and others accelerates wearable health platform growth.

Ultrahuman, a health intelligence company, has announced a $70 million financing round with participation from Qualcomm Ventures, Labcorp, Alpha Wave, Blume, Nexus and Alteria. The investment supports the company's evolution from a wearable health provider into a human-computer interface company built around the human body. The funding will accelerate research and development in sensing, artificial intelligence, miniaturised electronics, health algorithms and clinical science.


From Wearable to Human-Computer Interface

Ultrahuman believes that the most important computing platform of the next decade will not sit on a desk, in a pocket or on a face. Instead, it will continuously understand sleep, cardiovascular health, metabolism, hormonal rhythms, blood biomarkers and recovery. The company combines the Ultrahuman Ring, Blood Vision, M1/M2 Live continuous glucose monitoring, Ultrahuman Home and Jade to build a longitudinal understanding of human physiology.

Science as a Product Advantage

Ultrahuman has treated the smart ring category as a continuously evolving scientific and computational platform rather than a fixed-purpose tracker. AFib Detection extended passive wearables into cardiovascular awareness, while Cycle and Ovulation Pro moved reproductive health beyond calendar-based estimation. Peer-reviewed work covering cardiovascular fitness age, sleep and metabolism has involved collaborators such as Stanford University and data from adults across 100 countries.

Pulsomics and Real-World Evidence

Pulsomics, launched in 2026, is an opt-in research platform embedded directly into the Ultrahuman experience. It allows Ring users to contribute to large-scale studies using real-world longitudinal data rather than small laboratory cohorts, creating a direct bridge between consumer wearables and scientific validation. Initial programmes examine individual sleep need, VO2 Max and glucose metabolism, with further studies planned across cardiovascular load and longitudinal sleep.

Ultrahuman's engineering philosophy is that a wearable should become substantially more capable after it has been bought. PowerPlugs allow specialised health capabilities to be built on top of the platform across cardiovascular health, reproductive health, circadian alignment, respiratory health, shift work, pregnancy, metabolic health and migraine insights. UltraSignal opens wearable sensor streams to new algorithms, while Ring PRO moves more computation onto the wearable through a new sensing architecture, on-chip machine learning and expanded on-device storage.

Both investors expressed support for the platform's global expansion and its potential to advance how health information becomes actionable.

The new capital accelerates research and development across sensing, AI, miniaturised electronics and health algorithms while deepening investment in clinical science and large-scale research. It also extends the reach of Blood Vision and the metabolic health platform and brings the ecosystem to more people globally.
