The Stack, an India-based direct-to-consumer supplements brand, has raised ₹215 million in a Seed funding round co-led by Sauce, OTP Ventures, and Huddle Ventures. AYRA Ventures also participated in the round, which follows an earlier Pre-Seed investment of ₹55 million raised from OTP Ventures, Huddle Ventures, and a group of angel investors. Co-founded in 2024 by Shreya Jain and Kshitij Rihal, the company develops science-backed supplements using globally sourced, clinically studied ingredients and transparent formulations.

Funding Details and Use of Proceeds

The fresh capital will be used to expand the company’s team, invest in research and development, and grow its product portfolio across sleep, gut health, and functional health. The investor group includes Sauce.vc, OTP Ventures, Huddle Ventures, and AYRA Ventures, indicating continued institutional confidence in the brand’s quality-first approach. The startup had previously raised ₹55 million in a Pre-Seed round co-led by OTP Ventures and Huddle Ventures with participation from a group of angel investors.

Company Background and Product Philosophy

The Stack was co-founded in 2024 by Shreya Jain and Kshitij Rihal with a focus on long-term consumer outcomes. The founders decided to keep the product range limited and prioritize formulations that have been clinically studied rather than chasing rapid portfolio expansion across numerous categories. The brand sources ingredients globally, follows a quality-first approach to product development, and aims to build a trusted supplements label from India that meets global standards, a strategy central to its identity.

Product Range and Formulation Approach

The Stack currently sells five products across sleep, gut health, and functional health categories as part of its focused portfolio strategy. Its formulations combine ingredients such as magnesium bisglycinate, glycine, prebiotics, and probiotics to support everyday wellness, recovery, and digestive balance. The company keeps its product range limited so it can focus on consumer outcomes, transparent labels, and consistent product quality, and it says this strategy helps maintain high repeat purchase rates.

Customer Traction and Retention

One in three customers places a second order within six months of the first purchase, according to the company. Many customers pay upfront for subscriptions lasting six to twelve months, and the top 10% of customers account for 30% of revenue, underscoring loyalty among the brand’s most engaged users. The Stack also reports strong new customer acquisition through referrals and word of mouth, which it attributes to product efficacy and transparent communication.

Market Context and Competitive Landscape

India’s dietary supplements market was valued at US$5.8 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach US$12.4 billion by 2033, according to Grand View Research. The Stack competes with brands such as Wellbeing Nutrition, Supply6, and TruNativ in a growing health and wellness segment that spans preventive healthcare and chronic condition support. Recent investor interest includes Supply6’s US$5 million round led by Unilever Ventures and TruNativ’s US$30 million Series B from OrbiMed, highlighting increasing capital flows into nutrition-focused startups.

Growth Ambitions and Founder Commentary

The Stack claims it has grown fivefold in six months and is targeting 6 to 7 times growth in FY27 compared with FY26. Kshitij Rihal, cofounder of The Stack, said the company would rather have five products that customers keep returning to than fifty products they try once. He added that the brand is playing a long game, that customers are rewarding that patience, and that the new funding will help deepen retention while reaching new consumers.

The funding positions The Stack to strengthen its research and development capabilities while remaining focused on consumer trust and transparent formulations. As India’s preventive healthcare awareness rises, direct-to-consumer supplement brands are attracting larger investments from both domestic and global investors seeking exposure to the wellness market. The company’s emphasis on repeat orders, subscriptions, and long-term customer relationships may support its ambition to become one of India’s most trusted supplement brands over the next three years.
