Salvy, a provider of corporate telecom management solutions, has launched a Model Context Protocol (MCP) and a new API. The announcement enables managers to consult consumption data and perform operational actions through artificial intelligence assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. Every action is executed within permission settings defined by each client organization, creating a controlled environment for automation.
Conversational Management for Corporate Telecom
With the MCP, line managers can check usage, analyze spending, block lines, change plans, and execute bulk updates using natural language. Tasks that once required opening a platform, finding a function, and acting manually can now be handled through a simple request. Salvy says the shift moves part of telecom management from dashboards to conversational interfaces and reduces friction for administrators.
Automation Beyond Dashboards
Company workflows can also be automated when internal system events, such as employee onboarding or offboarding, trigger changes in telecom services. Salvy views this as a move beyond offering another path to complete the same tasks. The company believes AI can identify situations that require action and execute them under rules defined in advance.
Leadership Perspective
Artur Negrão, cofounder and CEO of Salvy, noted that digitalizing a service has long meant creating a platform for customers to access. He said artificial intelligence is beginning to change that logic. Negrão added that if AI has context, permission, and clear rules to act, a person does not need to command each process step.
Scale Drives Demand for Automation
Salvy's data indicates that companies with more than 1,000 employees perform 177 times more monthly telecom management actions than smaller businesses. The number of actions per administrator grows 14 times as scale increases. According to the company, AI can identify situations that require action and execute them under predefined rules without depending on step-by-step human commands.
Early Adopters and Use Cases
Beep Saúde, a home healthcare company, is exploring automations on Salvy's MCP to analyze telecom health and block idle lines through a recurring routine. Conta Simples, a corporate fintech, developed a prompt that monitors executive line consumption and adjusts data allowances automatically when necessary. These early cases illustrate how different sectors can apply the technology to reduce manual oversight.
API and Integration Options
The MCP functions as a bridge between Salvy's capabilities and compatible AI systems, removing the need to develop a specific integration for each scenario. The new API allows clients to build connections with other platforms and automations created by their own teams. This combination gives companies flexibility to embed telecom controls into existing operational workflows.
Permissions, Control, and Auditability
Access is not unrestricted, since actions remain subject to client-defined permissions and are recorded for audit purposes. This ensures that AI-driven changes follow the same governance standards as manual operations. Salvy also notes that the infrastructure is available in the context where a need arises, supporting more responsive and compliant management.
Salvy's launch reflects a broader movement toward embedding AI into corporate telecom operations. By combining conversational interfaces, API access, permission controls, and audit records, the company aims to meet the needs of businesses as they scale. The early use cases from Beep Saúde and Conta Simples suggest that this approach may reduce manual work while preserving governance and operational control.
