Bengaluru-based enterprise AI startup RevRag AI has raised US$2.5 million in a Seed funding round co-led by Accion Ventures and Cedar Hill Capital. Wyser and Venture Catalysts also participated in the round, which follows a US$600,000 Pre-Seed investment led by Powerhouse Ventures in August 2024 with support from marquee angels including Kunal Shah and Madhusudhan. The company said the new capital will accelerate product development, expand enterprise deployments, and support its entry into the United States market.

Investor Confidence and Use of Funds

RevRag AI builds multilingual AI agents that act as digital relationship managers inside the applications of banks, lenders, fintech, and insurtech companies. The agents plug directly into financial institutions' workflows to manage customer onboarding, sales, and support, helping providers improve digital adoption, reduce customer drop-offs, and grow revenue at up to 70% lower cost. The Seed round will fund further product development, an increase in enterprise deployments, and the company's planned move into the United States.

A Response to Digital Adoption Gaps

RevRag AI is targeting a persistent gap in India's financial ecosystem. Although nearly 90% of adults have financial accounts, only 54% of account owners use digital payments, according to the World Bank Global Findex 2025 cited by the company. The startup says its multilingual agents help overcome barriers such as difficult English interfaces, limited familiarity with formal financial terms, and low trust in purely digital systems, which are often more pronounced among underserved users.

Client Base and Product Momentum

The platform currently works with more than 45 financial institutions, including PhonePe, Bajaj Finance, Motilal Oswal, IIFL, Aditya Birla Capital, Aditya Birla Money, DCB Bank, Jar, Moneyview, Razorpay, Kissht, and Easebuzz. RevRag AI previously acquired GenStaq.ai, a modular LLMOps and workflow orchestration startup, in September 2025 to deepen its technology stack. Founded in Bengaluru by Ashutosh Prakash Singh, Neeraj Gupta, and Pankaj Gupta, the company is led by Ashutosh Singh as Founder and CEO.

Executive Perspectives

Ashutosh Singh, Founder and CEO of RevRag AI, said a good relationship manager knows customers, tells them what to do next, and handles actions on their behalf. He added that very few customers ever receive that level of support, and the company wants every financial app to work that way. Rahil Rangwala, Managing Partner at Accion Ventures, said the startup's sophisticated in-app agents are reshaping how financial institutions serve users with limited digital and financial literacy.

Investor Views and Market Expansion

Sahil Anand, Managing Partner at Cedar Hill Capital, said RevRag's agents are unique because they sit inside the customer journey and support various workflows. He added that the firm will leverage Cedar Hill Capital's wider financial services network to help the market discover RevRag as app journeys become deeper and more sophisticated. This investor support is expected to assist the startup as it moves into the United States market, following its work with some of India's largest financial institutions.

RevRag AI's Seed round signals growing investor appetite for AI agents that work inside existing financial applications rather than outside the customer journey. The startup's focus on multilingual guidance for onboarding, sales, and support positions it to address digital adoption barriers in both India and the United States. With an expanding client base, a recent acquisition, and fresh capital, RevRag AI is poised to scale its relationship manager model across global banking, financial services, and insurance markets.
