Reach Security, a provider of AI-driven security control intelligence, has raised more than US$50 million in a Series B funding round led by Top Tier Capital Partners. The company also introduced Reach Everywhere, a new offering that extends its security control insights into the platforms where enterprise defense decisions are made. The announcement on October 13, 2026 underscores growing demand for tools that help security teams respond to AI-accelerated threats at machine speed.

A Faster Threat Landscape

Reach Security's platform reads the live configuration of security products an enterprise already owns to determine whether an exploit path is blocked or still reachable. It identifies the exact rule that decides the outcome and can remediate protection drift immediately. According to VulnCheck, fewer than 1.3% of vulnerabilities are exploited in the wild, while CrowdStrike reports that AI-enabled adversary operations have increased 89% and breakout times have dropped to 27 seconds.

Putting AI on Defense

Reach uses AI to prioritize work based on which exposures and misconfigurations are actually reachable and which are already mitigated by existing controls. The platform autonomously reviews and tunes every control, helping organizations keep pace with rising attack volume without adding headcount. It also immediately closes the entry points used by AI-enabled adversaries by configuring the security defenses an enterprise already owns.

Reach Everywhere and Workflow Integration

Security decisions that reduce risk occur across exposure management, security operations, incident response, compliance platforms, and AI-powered security environments. Reach Everywhere delivers Reach's security control insights into each of these areas through the Reach API, its MCP server, and a growing ecosystem of technology partners. This means a backlog can be reordered where it already lives, and a control can be tuned without opening another tool.

Verified Compensating Controls

One immediate application helps exposure management programs address vulnerabilities that cannot be patched as quickly as AI discovers them. Reach identifies, validates, and continuously monitors compensating controls, providing evidence that they are deployed, current, enforcing policy, and sitting in the right attack path. In an independent ROI analysis by TAG Infosphere, organizations saved more than 160 hours per week and saw a 156% return that compounds as the control environment changes.

Leadership and Customer Momentum

Garrett Hamilton, CEO and co-founder of Reach Security, said AI has given attackers better economics but has also given defenders a chance to use their home field advantage. Sebastian Goodwin, Chief Trust Officer at Autodesk, said trust is built on evidence rather than assumptions and described Reach as the company's source of truth. Reach has doubled its customer base over the past 12 months, with Autodesk, Insurity, MPS, and Ensemble Health Partners among the organizations relying on the platform.

A Trusted Data Layer for AI Security

Colt Blackmore, co-founder and CTO of Reach Security, said a compensating control that cannot be verified is not a mitigation but an assumption. Top Tier Capital Partners General Partner and CEO Garth Timoll said AI's effectiveness depends on the quality of the data and systems it can trust, calling Reach a critical layer in the emerging AI security stack. The Series B included participation from Ballistic Ventures, In-Q-Tel, M12, Microsoft's Venture Fund, and existing investors.

The new funding will support product innovation, integration partnerships, international expansion, and continued growth in the United States enterprise and federal markets. Reach Security's vision is to provide a consistent, accurate, and continuously validated source of truth for security controls across the enterprise. As AI reshapes both attack and defense, the company aims to help security teams close exposure faster, strengthen resilience, and safely scale AI-driven operations.
