RapidCanvas, a managed AI execution company, has raised US$29 million in a Series B funding round led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India with participation from Hitachi Ventures. Existing investors Accel, Peak XV Partners, Valley Capital Partners, and Titanium Ventures also joined the round, bringing the company’s total funding to US$52.5 million. The Austin, Texas-based company announced the financing on October 16, 2026, following a period of rapid commercial growth.
Funding Follows Strong Commercial Growth
The Series B raise comes after RapidCanvas recorded 8x growth in annual recurring revenue over the past six quarters. More than 40% of its customers now run multiple AI use cases in production, signaling a shift beyond initial pilots. So far in 2026, over 75 enterprises across manufacturing, financial services, retail, business services, and infrastructure have made 1.4 million AI-led decisions using applications built on the company’s platform.
A Hybrid Approach to AI Delivery
RapidCanvas combines its AI platform with field AI engineers to design, build, and operate custom AI solutions for enterprise clients. These engineers learn each customer’s business processes and remain accountable for outcomes after deployment. The platform consists of three products: the Enterprise Context Engine, the Visual Development Canvas, and the Operational Harness, which together capture business context, accelerate solution building, and govern production AI.
Serving an Underserved Enterprise Segment
The company targets enterprises with US$100 million to US$10 billion in revenue that have AI budgets and executive mandates but lack a proven path to production outcomes. Many such organizations are caught between expensive services firms and do-it-yourself platforms that require specialized AI talent. RapidCanvas says conversations with more than 400 business leaders show most executives expect returns on AI within 6 to 12 months, yet few have moved beyond proofs of concept.
Leadership Perspective
Rahul Pangam, co-founder and CEO of RapidCanvas, said AI can be a great equalizer, but its biggest wins have so far gone to the Fortune 100. He noted that vibe coding has made it easy to start building with AI, while getting AI into production reliably and safely remains the largest gap. The company’s growth over the past six quarters, he added, shows enterprise AI is moving beyond pilots into real operations.
Investor Confidence
Piyush Kharbanda, General Partner at Vertex Ventures SEA & India, said most enterprises are still searching for real returns on AI spending, and RapidCanvas delivers by pairing a compounding platform with accountable field engineers. Radhika Ananth, Head of India and Investment Director at Hitachi Ventures, said enterprise AI will ultimately be measured by the economics of delivering outcomes at scale. She added that RapidCanvas combines hands-on engineering with a productized platform, shifting delivery from services economics toward software economics.
Plans for the Series B Capital
RapidCanvas will use the new funding to grow its go-to-market teams and expand its network of private equity and advisory partners. These partners bring managed AI execution to portfolio companies and clients as a repeatable path to value. The company also plans to grow its field AI engineering team across the United States, Brazil, and India, and will deepen its three core products, including governance capabilities in the Operational Harness.
With US$52.5 million in total funding and a subscription pricing model, RapidCanvas is positioning itself to change the economics of enterprise AI. The latest investment validates its hybrid model, which combines human engineering accountability with a repeatable software platform. As enterprises move beyond pilots, the company aims to make production AI outcomes accessible to a broader set of organizations.
