Returning investors iGlobe Partners and OCBC’s LionX Ventures also participated, reaffirming their commitment.
This extension builds upon an initial Series C round led by CDH Investments, bringing the total capital raised to $439 million. Its R1 model, introduced in January, is a real-time world model generating continuous streams that respond instantly to user input. CEO Changhu Wang explained the goal is to build an architecture for continuously generated worlds that are not pre-rendered.
