Pigment, an AI business planning and performance management platform, has secured US$250 million in Series E funding at a US$2.3 billion valuation. The round was led by Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, with participation from World Innovation Lab and existing investors including Greenoaks, ICONIQ, IVP, and Meritech. NVIDIA also plans to invest, according to the company announcement on October 21, 2026.

Funding details and investor backing

The Series E round brings Pigment's total momentum to a new level as it expands its global footprint. Scaleup Europe Fund, a commercially driven vehicle targeting €5 billion, led the financing, while WIL and current backers Greenoaks, ICONIQ, IVP, and Meritech joined the round. A planned investment from NVIDIA further underscores the strategic importance of AI-driven planning infrastructure.

Growth and enterprise adoption

Pigment surpassed US$100 million in Annual Recurring Revenue earlier this year, doubling its revenue year over year for the second consecutive time. The company also reported that 85% of new metrics on its platform are now created by an AI agent. Large organizations such as Danone, DirecTV, Siemens, Snowflake, ServiceNow, Unilever, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, and Uber rely on Pigment for planning and performance management.

Enterprise scale and global deployment

The company has displaced legacy incumbents across finance, sales, supply chain, and workforce planning. Pigment was recently selected by L'Oréal to replace its salary planning tool for more than 95,000 employees globally. This deployment highlights the platform's ability to support massive, enterprise-grade workloads in complex organizations at a truly global scale.

Advancing the Graphite engine

Pigment will use the new capital to accelerate research and development and expand its engineering team around Graphite, its proprietary and patent-pending compute engine. Graphite allows thousands of AI agents and people to work on the same governed model at once, scaling to hundreds of billions of data points with fully traceable results. The company aims to extend AI agents from building models and analyzing data to running planning workflows end to end.

Leadership perspectives

Co-founders Eléonore Crespo and Romain Niccoli said enterprise planning will change more in the next few years than it has in the last thirty. They noted that the world's most advanced AI companies now run their planning on Pigment, and the backing will help make autonomous planning a reality for every enterprise. The pair emphasized that AI agents can turn decisions into action as companies respond to change in real time.

Shannee Braun, Managing Director at EQT and Scaleup Europe Fund, said the richest picture of how a business runs sits in its plans. She highlighted that Pigment has built a single platform connecting finance, sales, and workforce planning, and put AI agents to work to help teams model, analyze, and act faster. Braun added that the co-founders have built a global category leader from Paris, exactly the kind of company the fund was created to back.

The Series E funding positions Pigment to accelerate its move toward autonomous planning for global enterprises. With strong investor backing, rising enterprise adoption, and continued investment in its Graphite engine, the company is building momentum against legacy planning providers.
