Irvine, California-based Pharmacore announced on October 19, 2026, that it has secured new funding to expand adoption of its clinical decision support software for medication regimen reviews in long-term care. The investment will support product expansion and onboarding for consultant pharmacists and pharmacy groups, with a focus on reducing repetitive work. The company said the funding will help create more time for clinical judgment and resident care by improving monthly medication reviews.

Reducing Manual Workload

Federally mandated monthly medication reviews can involve substantial time manually gathering records, carrying out repetitive checks, and preparing documentation for each resident. These administrative demands leave pharmacists with less time to evaluate the findings that matter most to each resident's care. Pharmacore is designed to reduce these repetitive tasks, create more space for clinical judgment, and support more consistent resident care.

A Unified Review Workflow

Pharmacore brings medication administration records, physician orders, and laboratory results into one efficient, structured review workflow for consultant pharmacists. The platform helps pharmacists identify potential medication-related issues, review suggested recommendations, and prepare reports without moving information between disconnected tools. This consolidation is intended to reduce documentation time and help pharmacists focus on the clinical findings that need their attention.

Pharmacist-Centered Recommendations

Pharmacore's recommendations view surfaces suggested recommendations for the pharmacist to accept, edit, or reject during the review process. Pharmacists can compare system-generated suggestions with their own recommendations, add findings, and decide what to include before completing each review. The product was built with practicing pharmacists who have decades of experience, keeping pharmacists in control of every clinical decision.

Leadership Commentary

"Pharmacists deserve software that makes this essential work easier," said Dave Robbins, co-founder and CEO of Pharmacore. "Our aim is simple: give clinical judgment its time back." Tim Merritt, PharmD, co-founder, added that Pharmacore was built around the work pharmacists do every month, and the funding will support more pharmacists as they adopt the platform.

ASCP 2026 Engagement

Pharmacore will attend the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists 2026 Annual Meeting and Exhibition from October 29 to November 1 at the Gaylord National in National Harbor, Maryland. Consultant pharmacists and pharmacy groups can meet the team at Booth 212, see a demonstration, and discuss how Pharmacore could fit their review workflows. The company is offering free trials, and demonstrations can be booked at pharmacore.ai/book-demo.
