Pathos AI, Inc., a clinical-stage artificial intelligence and technology company, has closed a US$237 million Series E financing round at a post-money valuation of approximately US$3 billion. Bristol Myers Squibb led the investment, with participation from existing investors. The capital will support the expansion of the company's proprietary Foundry platform and the acceleration of its clinical-stage oncology pipeline.

Financing Led by Bristol Myers Squibb

The Series E round was led by Bristol Myers Squibb, a global biopharmaceutical company, alongside existing investors. The financing values Pathos AI at approximately US$3 billion on a post-money basis. This funding follows a period of rapid portfolio expansion and operational momentum driven by the company's artificial intelligence platform, Foundry.

Foundry Platform Powers Drug Development

Foundry operates through thousands of specialized AI agents that aggregate the totality of information for a drug program in real time. The platform continuously synthesizes clinical data, genomics, biological specimen data, and the evolving competitive landscape. This continuous intelligence allows Pathos AI to identify precise biological subpopulations, guide clinical trial pivots, and eliminate high-risk development paths early.

Rapid Expansion of the Clinical Portfolio

Over the past several months, Pathos AI has leveraged Foundry to aggressively expand its clinical-stage oncology portfolio through a series of rapid strategic transactions. The company now has four active clinical assets in development across multiple solid tumor indications. This expansion demonstrates the platform's ability to identify highly promising drug candidates, integrate them into a focused pipeline, and move them toward clinical development quickly.

Key Programs and Clinical Priorities

The new funding will advance JSKN016, a first-in-class TROP2/HER3 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate, toward registrational studies. Capital will also support pocenbrodib in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer and relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, AZD4241, a novel ER PROTAC partnered with AstraZeneca, and DO-2, a next-generation MET kinase inhibitor. These programs reflect Pathos AI's focus on precision oncology and AI-guided clinical development.

Leadership Perspective on AI-Driven Development

Iker Huerga, Chief Executive Officer of Pathos AI, said the company is building a platform to systematically improve the probability of success in drug development. He explained that Foundry has fundamentally accelerated the company's ability to identify highly promising clinical assets and integrate them into its pipeline. According to Huerga, the new capital will allow Pathos AI to rapidly scale its AI engine while steering current programs toward key clinical milestones and the right patient populations.

Strategic Vision for the Future

Pathos AI redesigns drug development from first principles by identifying clinical assets, making portfolio decisions with continuously updated probability-of-success calculations, and guiding clinical trials with AI-native monitoring. The company's pipeline includes programs in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, multiple myeloma, MET-altered non-small-cell lung cancer, ER-positive and HER2-negative breast cancer, and TROP2/HER3-expressing solid tumors. With the Series E financing, Pathos AI is positioned to scale its platform and advance multiple oncology programs simultaneously.

The US$237 million Series E round and US$3 billion valuation underscore growing investor confidence in artificial intelligence as a core driver of pharmaceutical innovation. Pathos AI's ability to combine continuous data synthesis with clinical execution may reduce the time and cost of bringing new cancer therapies to patients. As the company advances registrational studies and expands its pipeline, it aims to demonstrate that AI-native drug development can deliver more precise and effective treatments.
