Particula, a consumer technology company that creates Physical-AI experiences for play, learning, and growth, has raised $15 million in a new funding round led by Elah Fund. Existing investors Grove Ventures and Flashpoint also participated in the financing, which will support product development, hiring, and global expansion. The announcement follows a milestone year for the company, which has now sold more than one million connected products worldwide.
A Breakout Year for Smart Play
Since its launch, Particula has grown from a single smart Rubik's Cube product known as GoCube into four distinct connected lines: GoCube, GoChess, GoBalance, and GoDice. The company has also expanded its sales model from a primarily direct-to-consumer approach to a global retail presence across national and specialty retailers in multiple international markets. This shift has positioned Particula as one of the fastest-growing brands in the smart play category.
Expanding Into Licensed Entertainment
Particula is now entering the licensed entertainment market through an official Harry Potter license from Warner Bros. Its new GoChess Wizard product combines real-time chess coaching and online play with design details that bring Wizard Chess from the films to life. This move marks the company's first global entertainment IP partnership and adds a major franchise to its smart play lineup.
Funding to Accelerate Product and AI Development
Particula said the new capital will be used to accelerate its product roadmap, deepen its investment in AI, and expand its global retail footprint. The company plans to scale its operations and grow its team across product, marketing, and international markets. This investment provides resources to move faster into new experiences and categories while strengthening its position as a leading smart play brand.
Technology That Enhances Physical Play
Founder and CEO Udi Dor said the company believes physical play has a unique power to bring people together, empower individuals, and create meaningful connections across generations. He added that technology should not replace these experiences but should make them more relevant, engaging, and exciting for today's world. Dor described surpassing one million units sold as an incredible milestone and said Particula is only at the beginning of its vision.
Recognition and Leadership Growth
The company's products have earned recognition from major media outlets, with WIRED naming GoChess the Best Toy Ever and The Wall Street Journal selecting Particula products as a Best Tech Gifts pick. To support its next phase of expansion, Particula is strengthening its leadership team with key hires across product, marketing, operations, and international growth. These additions bring experience in games, consumer hardware, and licensed entertainment products.
Investor Confidence in the Vision
Calanit Valfer, Managing Partner at Elah Fund, said Particula has done what very few consumer technology companies manage to do by building products families trust, critics celebrate, and major franchises want to partner with. She noted that the team has proven it can execute across product, retail, and licensing simultaneously. Elah Fund is an Israeli investment firm founded in 2017 and based in Haifa, focused on backing Israeli startups at their inflection point.
With fresh capital, a growing product portfolio, and an expanding international retail network, Particula is positioned to scale its Physical-AI approach across new markets and categories. The company's ability to combine tangible play with advanced technology has attracted both consumer demand and institutional backing. As Particula continues to develop licensed experiences and connected products, it aims to bring its vision of smarter, more engaging physical play to millions of people worldwide.
