Morse Micro, the world's leading Wi-Fi HaLow silicon provider, announced on 02 September 2026 that Vantron Technology has joined its Design Partner Program. Vantron already builds Wi-Fi HaLow modules, dongles, and gateways on Morse Micro silicon, and the new relationship extends its role from component supplier to complete product developer. Customers will no longer need separate vendors for the module, the hardware, and the software because Vantron now delivers all three as one finished Wi-Fi HaLow product.

Deepening an Existing Relationship

Vantron has been building on Morse Micro silicon for years, making full product design the next logical stage of a relationship that already spans multiple Wi-Fi HaLow product categories. With more than two decades of experience in embedded technology, the company designs and builds embedded boards, industrial routers, displays, and rugged tablets for customers around the world. Its Wi-Fi HaLow portfolio spans both the MM6108 and MM8108 chipsets and already includes system-on-modules, dongles, and gateways, giving it a strong foundation for complete product development.

Simplifying Customer Access

Morse Micro's Design Partner Program connects design houses, system integrators, and developer groups with the silicon, tools, and support needed to bring Wi-Fi HaLow products to market quickly. Customers previously needed separate vendors for the module, the hardware, and the software, which added complexity and slowed deployment. With Vantron in the program, they can now receive a single finished Wi-Fi HaLow product that integrates all three elements, reducing both sourcing friction and time to market.

Global Engineering and Manufacturing Capabilities

Vantron operates globally through entities in the United States, China, Germany, Singapore, and the United Kingdom, supported by engineering teams and an extensive global manufacturing network. The company employs more than 200 engineers and has accumulated over two decades of embedded technology experience across multiple industrial and commercial segments. It serves customers worldwide in industrial manufacturing, digital energy, retail, agriculture, healthcare, and other connected industries, including Fortune Global 500 companies.

Executive Views on the Partnership

Morse Micro co-founder and CEO Michael De Nil said Vantron has been building on the company's silicon for years, and joining the Design Partner Program represents an exciting next step for the partnership. He noted that a customer can now hand Vantron a requirement and receive the finished product, module included, tightly integrated with the hardware and software. Vantron Technology CEO Bo Wei added that the program allows the company to take its Wi-Fi HaLow capabilities beyond individual connectivity products and deliver complete, application-ready solutions.

Meeting Complex Industrial Requirements

The partnership supports customers that need more than standalone connectivity modules, including those developing industrial routers, gateways, and rugged devices. Vantron's ability to combine embedded system design, software integration, customization, and global manufacturing helps move projects from initial concept through certification and volume production. This full-service approach is intended to make long-range, low-power Wi-Fi connectivity easier to adopt across industrial and IoT applications.

Growing Partner Ecosystem

Morse Micro continues to see strong interest from design houses worldwide, and Vantron becomes the fifth design partner to join the program in the five months since its announcement at Embedded World in Germany. Vantron joins Gateworks, VPI Technology, CA Engineering, and Pace Wireless in the growing ecosystem. Together, these partners aim to bring long-range, low-power, and reliable wireless performance to industrial IoT, Edge AI applications, smart infrastructure, security, utilities, agriculture, and more.

The expanded relationship between Morse Micro and Vantron highlights rising demand for integrated Wi-Fi HaLow solutions in industrial and IoT markets. By combining Morse Micro's silicon expertise with Vantron's complete product design and global manufacturing capabilities, the partnership aims to lower barriers for customers seeking long-range, low-power connectivity. The announcement positions both companies to support faster development and deployment of connected devices across a broad range of sectors.
