Hyderabad-based game production and live services startup Liquidnitro Games has successfully closed a $19.1 million Series A funding round led by Northpoint Capital, with existing investor Nexus Venture Partners also participating. The startup, founded in December 2023, plans to use the new capital to enhance its AI-enabled game production and live services platform, expand into new markets, and strengthen its team. This funding follows a $5.25 million seed round raised in March 2024.

Fueling Growth Through AI and Global Partnerships

Liquidnitro Games aims to leverage its Series A funding to deepen its footprint in the gaming industry by supporting global publishers across diverse franchises, platforms, and regions. The company has identified India, MENA, and Southeast Asia as key areas for market expansion, reflecting its strategic focus on high-growth regions. Its platform combines proprietary AI tools with operational expertise to help partners optimise game development and live operations.

A Proven Track Record in Game Operations

Despite being a young company, Liquidnitro has quickly established partnerships with leading global publishers, helping them build, operate, and scale major gaming franchises worldwide. According to the company, its integrated approach—offering capital-backed engagement, AI-driven production, and extensive operational experience—enables publishers to maximise profitability while driving top-line growth. CEO Sandeep Kowdley emphasized that their combination of experience, technology, and financial resources creates a compelling value proposition in a challenging market.

Investor Confidence and Industry Impact

Northpoint Capital Founder and CIO Sameer Brij Verma highlighted Liquidnitro’s rapid execution and strong track record in a short period, praising the company’s unique operating model. He noted that its integration of AI-driven live operations, deep P&L oversight, and aligned capital represents a novel approach that could reshape how game publishers operate. The endorsement underscores investor confidence in Liquidnitro’s ability to scale globally and deliver measurable results for partners.

Strategic Use of Funding

The Series A proceeds will be directed toward product development, market expansion, and recruitment to support the startup’s growing ambitions. By investing in its AI-powered platform, Liquidnitro seeks to strengthen capabilities in both game production and live services, allowing it to cater to a wider range of publishers. The additional capital also positions the company to accelerate its presence in emerging gaming markets and reinforce its service offering to international clients.

Liquidnitro Games’ successful Series A round reflects the growing investor appetite for startups that combine technology, operational expertise, and global ambition in the gaming sector. With its AI-driven platform and strategic partnerships, the Hyderabad-based company is well-positioned to support publishers navigating an increasingly competitive market. The infusion of $19.1 million will enable Liquidnitro to scale operations, expand into key regions, and continue its trajectory as a rising force in global game production and live services.
