Intellivisa, a U.S.-based company that describes itself as the clearance engine for international travel, has raised US$3 million in Pre-Seed funding. The company announced the round on October 13, 2026, with support from strategic and institutional investors. Intellivisa plans to use the capital to scale its agentic AI platform that handles visa, entry, and compliance requirements for travelers before they reach the airport.

Funding and Strategic Backing

The Pre-Seed round was led by Mu Ventures and Incisive Ventures, with participation from Uncommon Denominator, Recursive Ventures, and P2S: AltaIR Capital and Smart Partnership Capital. United Airlines Ventures also invested, adding strategic travel industry support to the round. This new funding builds on an initial angel round in 2025 that included Naman Budhdeo, Bobby Patrick, Andy Hunn, and early-stage venture firm Antler.

A Fragmented Clearance Process

International travel has become easier to book, but getting cleared to travel remains complicated, manual, and fragmented across disconnected vendors. Entry requirements vary by destination, nationality, and reason for travel, and they can change with little notice while new digital entry systems add further complexity. Travelers often learn what they are missing only on the day they travel, and a single failed trip can cost thousands of dollars while airlines absorb delays, fines, and lost ticket revenue.

How Intellivisa Works

Intellivisa positions itself as a clearance execution engine embedded where travel is booked, determining what each itinerary requires based on the passport and destination. A team of AI agents works in parallel to validate documents against real-time embassy rules, check for fraud, complete forms, and submit travel authorizations directly to airlines and government systems. Integrated into the post-booking flow of airlines, travel management companies, and online travel agencies, it guides travelers step by step without bureaucratic language or unnecessary documents.

Scale and Performance

The platform handles end-to-end clearance for business, tourism, and study-related travel across any global passport. It supports more than 50 document types from 195 countries and multiple languages, with AI and embassy specialists combined. Most applications are filed within minutes and approved within 10 to 12 hours, with an approval rate above 99%.

Leadership Perspective

Sudeepa Singh, CEO and Co-founder of Intellivisa, said travelers today have two limited options: managing the process themselves or paying a lot for an agency. She stated that Intellivisa replaces guesswork, paperwork, and manual work with AI agents built directly into the travel experience. Singh added that the goal is to make Intellivisa the step no traveler skips before boarding, so every traveler arrives at the airport already cleared.

Investor View

Gary Benerofe, General Partner at Mu Ventures, noted that international travel has been transformed by digital booking, loyalty apps, and virtual customer service agents, but entry compliance has not kept pace. He said Intellivisa is deploying agentic workflows to solve an incredibly manual process that affects travelers, travel management, and airline operations. Benerofe added that the company sits on a massive opportunity to become critical infrastructure for international travel.

Intellivisa's Pre-Seed funding arrives as the travel industry faces growing compliance complexity and rising expectations for seamless digital experiences. The company's embedded approach could reduce costly failures for travelers and operational burdens for airlines and agencies. With support from travel and technology investors, Intellivisa aims to build the clearance layer for an increasingly agentic travel stack.
