Inspired Capital announced on October 20, 2026 that it has closed its US$450 million Fund IV, bringing total committed capital to more than US$1.3 billion. The New York-based early-stage venture firm said the fund will continue leading Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A investments in founders tackling consequential challenges. The announcement follows seven years of close founder partnerships that have produced 10 unicorns, significant revenue milestones, and more than 10 exits.

Fund IV and Strategic Focus

The new fund reinforces Inspired Capital's conviction-driven approach across sectors including AI infrastructure, healthcare, defense, fintech, robotics, and consumer. Founded in New York in 2019 by Alexa von Tobel and Penny Pritzker, the firm has grown its investment partnership to include Mark Batsiyan, Charlotte Ross, Kamran Ali, and Chris Brown. Inspired Capital now manages more than US$1.3 billion in assets and remains focused on Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A opportunities.

Milestones and Exit Activity

Inspired reports that 10 investments have reached valuations of US$1 billion or more, while 10 companies have surpassed US$100 million in annual revenue. Four portfolio companies have exceeded US$400 million in revenue, and these milestones underscore the firm's ability to identify and scale category-defining companies. The firm has also recorded more than 10 exits, including Teamshares' listing on Nasdaq, MosaicML's acquisition by Databricks, and Deeptune's acquisition by Mercor.

Selected Portfolio Highlights

Inspired led the seed round for autonomous defense company Allen Control Systems, which has since reached a US$2.2 billion valuation. The firm led the Series A for ShopMy, a curated commerce infrastructure leader most recently valued at US$1.5 billion. It also led the Series A for Stand, which has underwritten more than US$10 billion in insured property value and is now valued at US$1 billion.

The firm led a seed extension for Dandy, an AI-powered dental lab, in 2020, and the business scaled to over US$100 million in revenue within its first two years. Inspired was also the first institutional investor in Logiqal, a quantum computing company founded by a leading Princeton professor. In 2023, the firm invested in AI music platform Suno's seed round, and Suno is now valued at US$5.4 billion, while Solace has announced a US$1 billion valuation after Inspired led its Series A.

Founder Support and Revenue Practice

Alexa von Tobel, Founder and Managing Partner, said the firm was built on the belief that ambitious founders will fundamentally change how people live and work. She noted that Inspired has helped companies grow from their earliest days to hundreds of millions in revenue, and the firm's ambition has grown as it launches a revenue practice. Solace CEO and Co-Founder Jeremy Gurewitz added that Inspired stands out for its care, passion, and support, and said he strongly recommends founders speak with the firm.
