Infotech, an Ontario-based IT research and advisory firm formerly known as Info-Tech Research Group, announced on October 14, 2026, that it has acquired Bengaluru-based SaaS startup Zluri. The deal adds Zluri's application discovery and identity governance and administration capabilities to Infotech's offerings stack and marks the acquirer's first acquisition in 30 years. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Strategic Expansion into Operational Data and AI
The acquisition supports Infotech's broader expansion beyond traditional research and advisory services. Zluri will operate as a standalone division within Infotech, retaining its product development and core engineering teams in Bengaluru. Zluri's application discovery and identity governance and administration products will become core modules of Infotech's newly launched CIO Analytics platform, an API-driven advisory model that combines operational IT data with AI-assisted services, benchmarks, and analyst expertise.
How CIO Analytics Works
Infotech introduced CIO Analytics globally as an API-driven advisory model for IT leaders. The platform combines operational IT data with the company's research, benchmarks, AI-assisted services, and analyst expertise to help organizations make better-informed decisions faster. Zluri's application discovery will also serve as the foundation for the platform's broader suite of application modules.
What Zluri Brings to Enterprise IT
Founded in 2020 by Ritish Reddy, Chaithanya Yambari, and Sethu Meenakshisundaram, Zluri helps organizations discover, manage, and govern SaaS applications, identities, access, usage, and software spending. The platform also identifies unused subscriptions, reduces software costs, and protects sensitive company data by removing unnecessary or unauthorized access. Zluri caters to over 250 enterprise clients globally, including Monday.com, Tipalti, Razorpay, and Traveloka.
Customer Base and Revenue Mix
Zluri earns over 60% of its total revenue from Europe and North America. The company will continue serving existing customers after the acquisition while operating as a standalone division of Infotech. It will also scale its technology teams in Bengaluru as it develops new capabilities and supports Infotech's global community of over 30,000 IT leaders.
Funding History and Growth
Zluri has raised over US$32 million in funding from investors including Lightspeed, MassMutual Ventures, Endiya Partners, and Kalaari Capital. The startup most recently closed a US$20 million Series B round in 2023. Following the acquisition, the company will continue developing its capabilities and work with Infotech to bring operational data, technology, AI, and human expertise together for IT leaders.
Leadership Perspectives
Zluri cofounder and CEO Ritish Reddy said the company was started to give IT and security teams visibility and control over every application and identity in their organization. He added that joining Infotech places that data at the heart of how IT leaders make decisions. Infotech CEO Tom Zehren said CIO Analytics connects members' own data with research, benchmarks, and analysts without delay, enabling organizations to make better-informed decisions faster.
Market Context and Industry Consolidation
The deal reflects an emerging trend of global companies acquiring Indian SaaS startups to expand their capabilities. Recent examples include Freshworks acquiring Torii for AI and software spend governance, and Adobe acquiring Rilo in September to enhance marketing workflows. Infotech has grown by more than 340% over the past seven years and has surpassed US$300 million in annual revenue.
The acquisition positions Infotech to combine operational data, AI, and human expertise for IT leaders navigating complex application and identity environments. Zluri gains access to Infotech's global community of over 30,000 IT leaders, supporting its next phase of international growth. With application discovery and identity governance embedded in CIO Analytics, the combined organization aims to help enterprises manage risk, reduce software spending, and make smarter technology decisions.
