Huixi Technology, a Chinese developer of high-performance computing chips for embodied artificial intelligence, has completed its Pre-Series B-plus and Series B financing rounds. The company announced on October 22 that total equity financing during 2026 has surpassed CN¥2.5 billion. The new capital will support development of next-generation chips and accelerate the company's commercial deliveries across robotics applications.

Company Background and Product Focus

Huixi Technology focuses on large computing power chips for embodied intelligence and follows a data closed loop approach to chip design. The company uses a general programmable architecture to support high-performance AI system-on-chip products. Its portfolio includes the R1 AI SoC and the Huixi Embodied computing platform series, which integrate processors with software for deployment, simulation, and real-time control.

Investor Support and Financing Structure

The round was led by the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund. Government and market-oriented investors, including the Beijing Robotics Industry Development Investment Fund, Hidden Hill Capital, Zhengxin Valley Capital, Jinpu Investment, and the National AI Industry Investment Fund, also joined the financing. Existing shareholders such as Shunwei Capital, Cathay Capital, and SenseTime Guoxiang Capital continued to add to their commitments.

Technology Platform and Product Portfolio

Huixi develops the R1 AI system-on-chip and the Huixi Embodied computing platform series, combining processors with software for model deployment, simulation, and real-time control. The company has built a software stack covering model frameworks, compilers, operator libraries, runtimes, middleware, operating systems, simulation, and real-time control. This co-optimization lowers the engineering barrier for robot companies moving from algorithm development to real machine deployment.

Commercial Validation in Industrial Settings

The R1 platform reached a commercial milestone in 2025 when it was integrated into AgiBot's Genie G2 robots. In June 2026, multiple robots powered by the R1 chip completed 17,625 tasks during a six-day continuous production line exercise with a 99.99% success rate. That performance validated the stability and reliability of Huixi's computing solution in real industrial settings, reinforcing its move from chip development to commercial delivery.

Ecosystem Expansion and Industry Adoption

Huixi has established partnerships with multiple leading embodied intelligence companies, and its products now cover industrial manufacturing, smart retail, commercial catering, and unmanned logistics. The company has also launched the Huixi Embodied Intelligent Computing Ecosystem Alliance to connect robot makers, algorithm developers, sensor suppliers, and basic software providers. Shipments of the Huixi Embodied product series continue to grow as deployments scale across different robot forms and application scenarios.

Use of Proceeds and Strategic Goals

The proceeds will be used primarily to research and develop a new generation of high-performance chips for embodied AI while accelerating large-scale delivery and industrial ecosystem construction. Huixi intends to deepen software and hardware collaboration, improve computing platform performance, efficiency, and ease of use, and promote wider adoption of independently controlled computing products. The company's broader goal is to become a leading global supplier of embodied intelligence computing platforms.

The latest funding round reflects strong institutional confidence in Huixi's role within China's embodied AI chip sector. Participation from national and local government funds, industrial capital, and long-term existing shareholders underscores the strategic importance of autonomous core computing technology for robotics. With accelerated chip development and expanding commercial shipments, Huixi is positioned to support broader embodied AI adoption across industrial and commercial environments.
