Higgsfield, an AI-native multimedia content creation platform for brands, agencies, studios, and professional creators, has strengthened its investor base with new backing from TCV and NVIDIA. The company announced an extension of its Series B financing, building on a round led by DST Global in August. Higgsfield did not disclose the new funding amount, but the participation of two influential technology and media investors signals strong confidence in its AI-driven visual media platform.
Investor Confidence in AI Visual Media
TCV has previously backed companies that reshaped digital media, including Netflix, Spotify, Facebook, ByteDance, and Electronic Arts. NVIDIA, whose founder and CEO Jensen Huang attended the announcement during a visit to Kazakhstan, has powered multiple generations of Higgsfield's platform. Jay Hoag, founding general partner at TCV, said the product velocity and market adoption are rarely seen in the sector.
Rapid Growth and Global Reach
Higgsfield reports more than 40 million users across 238 countries and territories, with the United States as its largest single market and Europe as its largest region by usage. Eighteen months after launch, the company crossed US$1 billion in annualized revenue in September. Its enterprise business is the fastest-growing segment, expanding more than 100% month over month.
Enterprise revenue under contract from business customers has grown tenfold since June, according to the company. Independent commercial spend data from Ramp identifies Higgsfield as the fastest-growing image and video AI vendor. The platform helps marketing and advertising teams, entertainment companies, and creator economy businesses produce visual content at scale.
Scaling the Visual Token Economy
Higgsfield processes 12 trillion tokens across 150 million generations every month, positioning it among the largest AI media platforms globally. The company is building an application layer that turns compute into finished commercial work by integrating leading video, image, and audio models. It notes that generative video yields significantly more per token than text, with industry benchmarks at US$30 to US$150 per million equivalent tokens.
The company has scaled end to end on NVIDIA infrastructure, from L40 and A40 GPUs through Hopper and Blackwell generations, and plans to expand to NVIDIA Vera Rubin. Higgsfield also uses NVIDIA Dynamo to deploy custom inference workloads on its own GPU infrastructure. Its 15-minute animated short film Kök Börü was powered by NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra infrastructure and later open-sourced as a free course on Higgsfield Academy.
Leadership and Strategic Rationale
Higgsfield was co-founded by Alex Mashrabov, Kazakhstani AI engineer Yerzat Dulat, and Mahi de Silva. Mashrabov previously co-founded AI Factory, the computer vision company behind Snapchat's Cameos and face filters, which Snap acquired in 2019. The company keeps deep roots in Kazakhstan through the Astana Hub and has become the country's first AI unicorn.
Alex Mashrabov, co-founder and CEO, said every brand, studio, and creator now needs more visual content than traditional production can supply. He added that the combination of TCV's media investment record and NVIDIA's compute leadership positions Higgsfield well for the new category. Rev Lebaredian, vice president of physical AI simulation at NVIDIA, said the collaboration turns compute into creative work for millions of users and major brands.
Use of Funds and Market Outlook
Higgsfield said the financing will support product development, global infrastructure, hiring, and go-to-market expansion. The investment arrives as spending on visual content rises, with WPP Media forecasting global advertising revenue of US$1.3 trillion in 2026. The IAB expects US digital video ad spending to exceed US$80 billion this year, with nearly two in three buyers now using generative AI for digital video creative.
The extension of Higgsfield's Series B round highlights growing investor conviction in AI-native visual media and the commercial value of generative content. With rapid enterprise adoption, substantial user scale, and deepening infrastructure ties with NVIDIA, the company is strengthening its position in a competitive market. The new capital and partnerships are expected to help Higgsfield meet rising demand for professional-grade AI image and video production.
