Hiasynth, a new venture founded by Emma Agering, is preparing to change how companies understand consumers across Europe. It has built a synthetic model of Europe's population at a 1:1 scale and designed it to be queried directly by artificial intelligence, enabling any company to analyse any consumer market on the continent. The company has now raised an angel round led by Further Than Capital ahead of its planned launch in September 2026.

A Detailed Synthetic Population

The model holds half a billion personas across 37 countries, with each persona carrying more than 600 attributes that co-vary as they do in the real population. Although entirely synthetic, every persona is plausible across income, housing, consumption, habits, and values. Hiasynth also mapped 3.7 million micro-zones and placed each persona inside a household within one of those zones to ground its data in local conditions.

Local Realism and European Fragmentation

Founder Emma Agering explained that where and how people live defines lifestyle as much as individual identity, which is why the company built households in mapped micro-zones to anchor consumption patterns. Europe has never behaved like a single market because every country brings its own language, consumption habits, and research costs. Hiasynth sees this fragmentation as a structural problem that can be solved with a unified synthetic model rather than dozens of separate research projects.

Lowering the Cost of Market Intelligence

Agering said market intelligence has always been a luxury service priced for enterprise customers, but she expects that price to collapse. When Europe becomes one model instead of 37 research projects, a ten-person company can read a market across the continent as well as the market down the street. This approach promises to make cross-border consumer analysis accessible to much smaller organisations that previously could not afford it.

Investor Support and Seed Trajectory

The angel round is led by Further Than Capital and joined by three additional angel investors. Further Than Capital holds early positions in Lovable and Blackwall, and the new capital will support product development and the launch ahead of a planned seed round. Per Björklund of Further Than Capital said the firm backs founders before ideas and wants to be involved from the start because the product ships across Europe on day one.

Launch and Open Protocol Access

Hiasynth will launch in September 2026 at Bits and Pretzels in Munich, Germany, and it will be available through the Model Context Protocol. This open standard enables AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT to query external tools and data directly. Stefan Lindeberg, from Further Than Capital and co-founder of Creandum, said language models are good at producing plausible answers about markets but bad at knowing whether those answers are true.

Hiasynth is positioning synthetic population data as a practical layer for AI-driven market decisions, with the stated goal of replacing guesswork with a population model that AI can reason over. By combining geographic detail, demographic depth, and open protocol access, the company aims to lower the cost of consumer intelligence across Europe. Its Munich launch will be an early test of whether this model can deliver actionable insight at a much broader scale.
