GetPicks, an Atlanta-based daily fantasy sports platform built around fast withdrawals and social play, has closed a $3 million equity round. The funding was backed by gaming industry angels and operators, according to a company announcement released on October 16, 2026. The new capital will support the company's expansion across the United States and the continued development of its social and payment features.

Experienced Gaming Investors

The investor group includes founders of publicly traded gaming companies, executives from major U.S. lottery and sweepstakes platforms, and operators behind multi-billion-dollar gaming exits. These backers bring decades of combined experience across U.S. gaming, lottery, sweepstakes, and gaming infrastructure. GetPicks also highlighted that its founders have backgrounds in consumer apps, financial products, performance marketing, and affiliate distribution.

Faster Withdrawals as a Core Feature

GetPicks processes withdrawals in under five seconds around the clock, according to the company. This stands in contrast to many daily fantasy platforms that still depend on card processors and bank transfers, which can delay payouts for days. Legacy payout timelines often become even longer over weekends and holidays, adding unnecessary friction for players who expect faster access to their winnings.

Social Play and One-Tap Tailing

The platform allows users to follow other players, view their lineups, and copy a full lineup in one tap. Players can publish their lineups and build a following, while others can discover those picks and follow activity in real time. GetPicks said this design connects the act of making picks with the experience of sharing them across a community.

Copy Rewards Create a Flywheel

GetPicks also gives players rewards when other users copy their lineups, creating an incentive to keep sharing and attracting followers. According to the company, shared lineups help users discover players to follow, copying turns that interest into participation, and rewards encourage creators to publish their next lineup. This flywheel effect is central to the platform's approach to social daily fantasy.

Early Traction Across 21 States

Since launching in June 2026, GetPicks has attracted more than 35,000 registered users and awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes. The platform is available in 21 U.S. states and offers player-stat contests across football, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, cricket, and esports. Its contest coverage includes major leagues such as the NFL, NBA, and MLS.

Expansion Plans and Product Development

With the new funding, GetPicks plans to expand its creator and community programs, further develop its social features, and grow across eligible U.S. markets. The company is treating the start of the NBA season as a key moment for user acquisition and engagement. The platform brings together fast payouts, social discovery, and rewards in a single daily fantasy experience.

GetPicks is entering a daily fantasy sports market where many established platforms still rely on slower payment systems and limited social interaction. The $3 million equity round gives the company additional resources to build on early momentum and refine its combination of instant withdrawals and community-driven play. As it expands across U.S. states, the platform's ability to turn sharing into participation may shape its next stage of growth.
