EcoSys (Malaysia) Berhad, an industrial solutions provider serving the pan-semiconductor industry, made its debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on October 14, 2026. The Group's shares opened at RM0.70 per share, representing a premium of 159.26% over the initial public offering price of RM0.27 per share. EcoSys is listed under the stock name ECOSYS and stock code 0477.

Market Debut and Capital Raised

Through the IPO, EcoSys raised approximately RM39.34 million in gross proceeds from the issuance of 145.70 million new ordinary shares. The strong opening price indicated healthy investor interest in the company's specialized industrial solutions. The listing also provides a public market platform to support future expansion and the creation of shareholder value.

Use of Proceeds

The largest portion of the proceeds, RM17.00 million, will be allocated to expanding the abatement segment through the purchase of key components and modules for abatement systems. A further RM8.00 million will be used to repay bank borrowings, while RM4.93 million will enhance operational capabilities through new machines and team expansion. Additionally, RM1.54 million will support an India sales and service center, RM2.36 million will fund working capital, and RM5.50 million will cover estimated listing expenses.

Leadership Commentary

Managing Director Chan Chee Wei described the listing as a significant milestone that reflects the progress made in building specialized technical capabilities, proprietary abatement technologies, and customer relationships across the pan-semiconductor industry. He stated that the capital raised will support abatement segment expansion, strengthen ultra-high purity fabrication capabilities, and enable a more direct presence in India. He added that as a listed company, EcoSys remains focused on disciplined execution, continuous innovation, and sustainable value creation for stakeholders.

Adviser Perspectives

Datuk Bill Tan, Managing Director of M & A Equity Holdings Berhad, said EcoSys enters the public market with a differentiated combination of UHP fabrication and proprietary abatement technologies. Datuk Kelvin Khoo, Group Chief Executive Officer of Eco Asia Capital Advisory Sdn Bhd, said the listing provides greater financial flexibility and a stronger corporate platform for expansion. Both advisers highlighted the company's established customer relationships and ongoing investments in operational capabilities as foundations for future development.

Business Overview

EcoSys Group serves the pan-semiconductor industry through two complementary categories of industrial solutions. These include ultra-high purity fabrication of precision engineering components and sub-assembly modules, as well as the research, development, customization, assembly, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of proprietary abatement systems. Its solutions support applications in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, front-end semiconductor manufacturing equipment, solar photovoltaic panel manufacturing equipment, and industrial gas supply systems.

Growth Strategy

The planned expansion of the abatement segment will focus on securing key components and modules to meet demand from semiconductor and solar manufacturing customers. EcoSys also intends to strengthen its ultra-high purity fabrication capabilities through additional machines and a larger team. These investments are aligned with the Group's objective of deepening its position in the pan-semiconductor value chain.

The listing of EcoSys on the ACE Market highlights growing investor appetite for specialized industrial technology providers supporting semiconductor and solar manufacturing ecosystems. The capital raised positions the Group to scale its abatement systems business, improve operational efficiency, and establish a stronger presence in India. EcoSys now enters its next phase as a public company with a clear strategy centered on innovation and sustainable long-term growth.
