Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus (Dtec) has announced a strategic partnership with software development giant JetBrains to accelerate AI adoption among emerging companies. The collaboration, formalized during Dtec’s Agentic AI Innovators Forum, will provide startups with access to advanced developer solutions. This initiative aims to bolster Dubai's position as a leading global hub for technology.

Empowering Startups with Advanced Tooling

Through this alliance, startups within the Dtec community will gain entry into JetBrains' esteemed Incubator and Accelerator Partner Program. This program boasts a successful alumni network that includes global unicorns such as Bolt, Canva, and Deel. The partnership also grants eligible founders complimentary access to professional integrated development environments (IDEs).

The initiative offers significant advantages for selected startups within the Dtec ecosystem. These companies will receive up to ten commercial subscriptions to JetBrains' intelligent tools completely free for six months. Following this period, they can benefit from a 50% discount for up to five years on key solutions.

Fostering a Knowledge-Based Ecosystem

Beyond software access, the collaboration is designed to cultivate local expertise and foster innovation. JetBrains will host exclusive workshops and specialized sessions focused on developer best practices and emerging software trends. These educational opportunities will help founders maximize the value of the provided technologies and stay ahead of industry changes.

Hans Christensen, Vice President of Dtec, emphasized the importance of creating the right environment for entrepreneurs. He stated that the partnership reinforces Dtec's commitment to accelerating technology-driven growth and aligns with Dubai's Economic Agenda D33. This collaboration is crucial for building a future-ready digital economy and supporting the UAE's AI strategy.

A Strategic Investment in Regional Growth

For JetBrains, this partnership represents a continued investment in the Middle East's rapidly developing startup network. Anastasia Zemskova, Vice President of Strategy, noted that as AI adoption accelerates, developers need the right tools to build high-quality software. This collaboration helps emerging companies access resources needed to transform ambitious ideas into successful businesses.

Nadia Rinsky, Head of GTM MENA at JetBrains, added that the focus extends beyond providing software licenses. The goal is to reduce technical barriers for the next generation of tech leaders by building local capability. Through knowledge sharing and practical guidance, the partnership aims to help founders scale efficiently on a global level.

Strengthening Dubai's Position as a Tech Hub

This agreement is poised to significantly strengthen the UAE's developer ecosystem by connecting founders with vital technical expertise. It also provides access to a global community of software professionals, fostering collaboration and best practice sharing. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to advancing AI innovation through education and practical application.

Dtec, based in Dubai Silicon Oasis, has a proven track record, having helped launch 1,000 startups and create 4,000 jobs. This new partnership builds on that foundation by providing critical resources for AI-powered product development. It enables founders to automate tasks, enhance code quality, and accelerate their time to market.

The partnership between Dtec and JetBrains marks a significant milestone for Dubai's technology sector. By combining access to industry-leading tools with targeted educational support, the initiative provides a powerful launchpad for AI-driven startups. This collaboration not only empowers founders but also reinforces the UAE's ambition to be a premier global destination for technology innovation.
