DroneDash Technologies and GEODNET have announced a strategic joint venture, GEODASH Aerosystems, to revolutionize agricultural drone technology. Based in Singapore, the new company is developing an advanced spraying drone designed for large-scale industrial farming. This innovative platform aims to eliminate the need for manual pre-mapping, promising greater efficiency and operational speed for agricultural enterprises.

Addressing Operational Inefficiencies in Agriculture

Current agricultural drones often present significant operational hurdles for large-scale farming. Operators must conduct manual field surveys to generate static flight plans before every mission. This time-consuming process limits the area a team can cover and slows the response to urgent crop needs.

These challenges are magnified as agricultural operations expand in scale and complexity. Any changes in terrain, crop growth, or planting patterns necessitate a complete re-mapping of the area. This repetitive cycle increases labor costs and reduces the overall efficiency of drone deployment across vast estates.

A New Paradigm of Dynamic Intelligence

GEODASH Aerosystems introduces a drone built around dynamic intelligence to overcome these limitations. The platform integrates DroneDash’s proprietary AI Vision system with GEODNET’s high-precision, centimetre-level RTK correction network. This powerful combination enables the aircraft to perceive and navigate its surroundings autonomously during flight.

This technological leap delivers substantial operational benefits for agricultural managers. Drones can be deployed instantly without preliminary surveys, dynamically adjusting altitude and spray rates over varied terrain. The system’s adaptability allows for rapid redeployment after field changes, significantly improving precision and workflow efficiency.

Transforming Spraying into Agronomic Insight

The new platform's capabilities extend far beyond automated spraying operations. Each mission doubles as a data-gathering activity, with the drone feeding real-time information into DroneDash’s AI Smart Farming backend. This transforms the aircraft from a simple tool into a continuous source of aerial intelligence.

The collected data generates valuable agronomic insights for plantation managers. Analytics include canopy density analysis, crop stress detection, and zone-specific health assessments. These actionable reports empower teams to make informed decisions regarding pest control, fertilization, and resource allocation.

Leadership Vision and Market Strategy

Paul Yam, CEO of GEODASH Aerosystems, emphasized the venture's focus on intelligence over size. He stated that the goal is to create smarter drones that integrate operational execution with agronomic decision support. This approach helps operators move faster while improving both consistency and crop outcomes.

Mike Horton, a co-founder of the new venture, highlighted the importance of reliable autonomy. He explained that combining centimetre-level positioning with real-time perception makes autonomous operations predictable. This synergy enables both accurate spraying and continuous, data-driven farm management for modern agriculture.

GEODASH Aerosystems is targeting major industrial agriculture markets for its initial rollout. Key regions include oil palm plantations in Southeast Asia as well as large-scale crop operations in the Americas. Following successful pilot programs throughout 2025 and early 2026, commercial deployment is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026.

The formation of GEODASH Aerosystems marks a significant advancement in agricultural technology. By shifting from standalone equipment to an integrated intelligence platform, the venture is poised to redefine precision agriculture. Its innovative approach promises to enhance productivity and support sustainable, data-informed management for industrial farms worldwide.
